Dooley sounded good at his press conference. Donnie Tyndell did a great job at his. Win football games. Don't care about anything else. If he's got us in the CFB playoff race in 3-4 years, all will be fine and everyone will be on board. If we're going 6-6 again, we're going to see him and Fulmer both on the ropes.

He's on the clock. Get to work.

Shut up and enjoy the day

Lighten up Francis. We could be in a much worse place today than where we are

Kiffin had an underwhelming presser. Seemed nervous. Dooley had a good one, guess i was fooled, but dooley was smart a lawyer and a decent public speaker.

I never liked Butch's he never seemed genuine to me.

This one was pretty amazing he definitely won me over seems genuine and completely owned the room.

Once Pruitt comes in and revamps our football program, last season will seem like a distant memory.

Ok ok not going negavol here but shouldnt we hold back like 1-3 % for ZERO head coaching experience... like that teacher who just wouldnt give a 100 no matter what. Also have to minus - maybe some % because hes from bama.

Not judging yet...but 100% not sure. Feels good though

I rarely post but I've driven my wife absolutely crazy this season with how often I'm on here. She thought I was being sketch because she'd wake up at 3:00 AM and I'd be on my phone under the covers looking for any sign of hope. It's been a very hard season. I've loved my Vols all my life and have wondered if what I grew up with was just an anomaly. To have the season end the way it did with so much bad juju hanging in the air... it was terrible. It was like everything you ever loved was a fraud. And then Fulmer steps in like a freaking Jedi and there was hope. And then THIS guy shows up out of nowhere. Sweet Jesus. During the presser my wife was like "You're going to cry, aren't you?" I had no shame. Get it done, Coach P!

I would probably have preferred a few less of Saban's "aights" but am cautiously optimistic about him. It is kind of refreshing hearing that accent, Pruitt is country as hell :) I definitely prefer that over that harsh Michigan accent Jones had.

Did anyone else miss the words resiliency, leadership reps, continuity, and life champions? No? Me either. GO VOLS

There hasn't been a coach at UT minus Pat Summit including Fulmer that has had a press conference like that. Dude showed his passion and wasn't BS, you could tell by his body language.

I could tell he definitely didn’t like that little microphone. Or maybe he did too much. He was nervous but he seems like most of his life has been on or around a football field. Hope that translates into wins

We are in last place. Isn’t that as bad as it gets?

Look around college football right now. Lots of coordinators doing great as HC. Someone has to give them that chance. This guy obviously knows football and being around the head coach company he’s had doesn’t hurt.

Who he has worked for is what got him hired. And he has worked for them a good amount of time. The fact Saban would keep him on staff that long is a good sign. He isn’t a public speaker though. But that’s not really a requirement
