Really?I never expected the O to tank and the D win it for us but sure glad they stepped up, and our FG kicker.
4 sacks, 9 TFLs, 1 int, multiple tipped passes, and the most QB pressures by any team in the last decade. The last stat really stands out.
If Tillman catches that easy TD pass instead of it bouncing off of his facemask we dont go into overtime. If we dont give up those 2 ridiculous long TD plays the game is never in question. If we dont fall asleep on special teams and give them a blocked punt and fumble a punt return the game is REALLY never in question.I’m gonna be real. We won because their backup was horrible. A decent QB back there and they beat us easily last night.
They had a good starting QB, that we knocked out of the game. Their D was considered very good. We will see how they play the rest of the year to see how good they are. Continue to whine and complain about our team, must be a lot of work to look for all the black clouds behind the silver lining. What was very good about them?
Hats off to the Dline today, but at the same time part of me wonders how much it may have to do with Pitt's poor Oline. For example, Pitt gave up 5 sacks to West Virginia last week, yet WV didn't register a sack today against Kansas. Nonetheless, 16 QB hurries is remarkable. Just sad that we give such a large cushion that our DBs can't cover long enough and convert some of those hurries to sacks.
Might as well leave it alone dude, it's the same ole thing. Some just can't be happy unless they're showing their superiority over others on a message board.Ask Napier this morning.
And UT uncharacteristically muffed a punt, dropped passes, had Hooker start a game cold, played without a LB and probably their best punt returner...You mean after they lost their starting quarterback and had to play with a one legged quarterback and still took it to overtime? You’re looking at eight and four at best
