100 Days until Its Football Time in Tennessee

Being 64, I have seen major disappointments for several years. But......I will wait and watch the product on the field during game time before I get overly excited for this year. I will say though that all we have to do is win four games and we will have won more than last year. When we are near the bottom, there's only one way to go. Not being the lead horse in the pack does not give us the best view when looking ahead. Even with that......I am still anxious to get the season started to see some college football!!!!

Even when we have been in the midst of a crappy season, I still have been happy that we are playing football. I look forward to a new start and a clean slate (aside from the investigation). I hope we don't have too many head-scratching plays and taking knees when there's time left. And, if something is working - keep doing it (and vice versa). I have bridled hope and enthusiasm. Go Vols!

If we win 6 games this year is it really an improvement? If we had 3 cup cake games last year we would have won 6 games (most likely). I want to see us beat 4 SEC teams this year before I call it a completely successful year. I know we will not beat the "Big 3" but I would like to see us at least be competitive in those games. I am excited to see the team hit the field. I will not be at the opener but I will be at the Pitt game. I hope the stands are packed for the Pitt game and the crowd cheers on the Vols to victory.

Not sure we beat all 3 cupcakes past year. Either way, 6 wins with the roster we have and maybe a 7th with a bowl game would be improvement over last year no matter who we beat to get there.

The drinking starts on Friday afternoon after classes.At Happy hour.Then it goes till the bars close at three am.Then to a party that starts after closing till 8am.Then go to Eddie's package store on the strip,buy 2 pints 100 proof vodka,and head to the game.Consume said pints by the end of the first quarter,then you'll be ready for after game on the strip.THAT is drinking ALL day.My liver thanks me along with Brother Jack's.

I had to quit for medical reasons. I did not have a single solitary sip of alcohol during the Jeremy Pruitt era. This is not a pat me on the back, be proud of me post. This just shows my resolve of watching us getting our ass handed to us by Ga State, UK and other teams completely sober for 3 years. It’s been a long 3 years. I completely understand @bray2milton ‘s Ben Affleck picture above.

Right now I am somewhat excited because of the new offense we are getting been waiting a long time to have a offense like this BUT I am afraid Heupel will put a damper on that with a decision he will make before the season start. That is just seem to be modern day Tennessee football you may get a new sports car but the guy driving it wants to put a Honda Civic motor in it BUT if that decision that Heupel has to make before season has a 15 on his chest I will be extremely excited but unfortunately I don't see it happening no matter what I just don't think it was ever in the cards for the new staff. Hope I am wrong and I get to cont. to be excited but this program doesn't see to keep you excited once the season start tho.
