I just wanted to say that I'm proud for any athlete who would call Knoxville his home, records be damned. Not every player has the best coach/mentor, but glad that they wore Orange.

Go Vols!!!

Gotta respect their heart.. They're willing to take a risk and put the weight on their backs.. Not scared like some others....

It is really exciting to see the committment from these young men. I really feel its all coming together and sooner than later. Its hard not to be excited for these guys and this team. This season will be tough, and I hope people don't have unreal expectations.

A little concerned about the RB position with Lane out and probably not coming back. ONe of the youngsters has got to step up BIG.

Its great to be a Tennessee Vol !!!!!

Many of the young men have had negative comments directed toward them (in regards to their loyalty to UT) if we do not have a respectable season. So, this was something that they wanted to do collectively to let everyone know that they don't care what happens this season - they're not going anywhere. They want to reassure the fans and the coaching staff, but they also want opposing staffs and potential recruits to see their dedication too.

Good morning Vol74,

Please let them know that the VolNation is truly worldwide! They will meet family around the world when they rep THE Orange.

On a hike in the Australian outback, (wearing my colors of course) I got a "Go Big Orange" shout out from a passing steam powered train.

In St Mark's Square in Venice Italy "How 'bout them Vols!"

In Cozumel Mexico, "Go Vols! "

In Breckinridge Colorado on the ski slopes were multiple "Go Vols"

Whenever we travel (not nearly as much as it sounds), my kids are constantly amazed by the attention that I receive when someone sees our color Orange.

The Big Orange Nation has been literally seething beneath the surface of college football for the last 10 years. The Volunteers are restless to reclaim our Neyland given right to the elite level of college football.

Tell them that these Volunteer players with Coach Butch Jones leading them shall lead us back to that promised land! If they look behind them to see who follows and supports them, well the VN troops are endless, undaunted and hungry.

#VFL since 1973 (my first UT football game). I was 11. Now 50 and the flame burns ever brighter! :)

As a side note, I'm sitting in Perkins now next to Neyland. The sound of whistles and the loudspeaker during Spring Practice brings a smile to my face. Go Vols!

Great to see you in here again 74. Yourr a hero by me in these parts. Yeah, I saw all the guys tweet the same thing last night and I responded by letting them know Volnation appreciates them and are glad they're Vols. I was wondering what prompted the tweets and was damn glad to see them. Thanks for the insight!

Well said 74, keeping the top in state talent was crucial to the alabubba turnaround. It is also the first step in getting us back where we belong. :hi: :twocents:

These kids that are staking their claim in this program make me feel something I haven't felt in a long time. I've spent so much time trying to defend the team I love in recent years. And now we have players and future players who are committed to bringing this team back. How can you not be excited to be a Vol fan right now???

GO VOLS!!!!

Nice post vollygirl :)
