I am in the National Gurad and deployed right now. I am pretty much useless in any efforts to do anyting myself. However, and I am 100% serious about this, I think the fans can make a difference. Therefore, I am calling for a 100,000 VOL FAN MARCH!. I am completely serious here everybody. 100,000 fans, right up to Harts door. maybe the Rock. it need to be organized. People need to grows some balls. Nobody ever stands up for anything anymore. Does anybody really think that hart reads these boards? And if he does, do you think he really gives a damn about what people say here? But, action, that speaks loudly and cant be ignored. A messge board is good for messages, not good for action. I swear to you, if i were home, I would do everything I possibly could, even if I had to go by myself and hope others would join me and make my voice known, right to the little weasels face! We can manage, or we used to could manage, to get 100,000 fans in the stands for one football game. Why cant we get 100,000 together to save the entire TN Vol Football program. Do we want to sit back and watch the best recruits go to bama and Florida? Do we want to continue to watch SECCG's with everyone in it but UT? Do we want to continue to see 6-6, 5-7 or worse seasons? hell no! Im sorry. Something has to happen. Hart cares so little about the fans, that he cant even make one little statement. Did you try to get Gruden Mr. hart? Why couldnt you? Wasit your fault or His? We deserve to know what the hell is going on. Damn it! I wish I were home! Come on Vol fans, UNITE AGAINST THIS TYRANT NAMED HART!

Why not? I can tell you. No BALLS! not enough love for a cause. That is why. I promise you, if I were there. I woudl be standing outside the Athletic Dept doors with a freaking sign. Demanding answers! No it is NOT idiotic. There is power in numbers. It is fans like you without enough passion that is the problem.

Not sure Hart owes us anything. It's a business. And he will be judged by business decisions made just like anywhere else. Make the wrong decision and it become obvious and you don't survive.

New boss....repeat as needed....(see Mike Hamilton).

Lets just wait until Hart actually makes a hire before we start to jump on him. We don't know the whole story yet. He could've done everything to appease Gruden and it still might have not been enough to land him. Lets wait and see.

Im the kind of guy who if I ask a question I want a truthful answer to it. Why cant he just answer the questions? Large groups of people can get answers.

Let me ask the OP. do you love UT football enough to get stomped out or shot by KPD in riot gear? This isn't Brazillian soccer where they riot for nothing. I see what you're saying, but I just don't see it ending pretty for a few folks.

I think the fanbase deserves to know what's going on. However I don't think a protest would accomplish that it would just give us more bad publicity which we don't need. If we protest it should be about the Knox media feeding us garbage all the time imo. I'm so over there crap!

If I believe in something, yes. I would take that chance. But that would never happen. As serious as I am about it, and as passionate as I am about it, I know it would never happen. Like I said, nobody fights for anything anymore, they just except geting the shaft and deal with it. Would I be up there on campus, going to jail everday, probably.

What may be a better idea is planning a 100,000 person march around December 17th to Neyland Stadium. Might be a guy over there worth seeing. I have no issue with a march, I just think it should be to celebrate a new era of UT football. Be Patient.

Not clear on the concept. What question(s) is it that you want an answer to?

And what has Hart done that makes him a tyrant? Did I miss something?

Once we know what the questions are, we can come up with clever signs. And make bumper stickers. We can call it Occupy Hartland. Just throwing some ideas out there.

Concerning the march Im completely on board, being proactive is the only way we are going to get things done. Do you have a website?
