100,000 orange glow sticks purchased by UT!

The game will be at night. CBS will get first dibs and will take the (politically incorrect) cocktail party. It would be cool if we wore all orange and USCjr wore all black. This could be a possibillity with the change in the rule allowing both teams to wear solid colors.

Miss at AU has just as good of a shot at being the primetime game as we do. If UT is 3-4 and SC is 6-2 coming off a Vandy win, I find it hard to believe ESPN would want that game, I see possibly a 12:21 est start.

Since SCjr will be in black...the we gotta be in all orange...maybe it will be a orange-out instead of a black-out. Blacked out fans with a oranged out team...doesn't make much sense.

No Blackout. CLK already said he doesn't like Black after being with Raiders. You saw him change out of Black at the AUB game.

I have no idea about glow stiks? Sounds gimmicky to me. UT has too much solid tradition to have to do gimmicks IMO.

This rumor is asinine. Glow sticks? Come on.

That being said, if this happens, I hope MGMT sits in with the POTSB.

Also, this is definitely a possibility:

Even better, with the blackout, how about the university pass out miniature bottles of Jack Black for celebration purposes---when UT comes on the field, everyone takes a swig!

Yeah, let's hand out 100,000 projectiles at the gates. 20,000 would end up on the field and that would be great exposure for our fanbase.

there is a ton of money for University to make off of a blackout...everyone buying black T's...it's all about the benjamins baby.

We already get made fun of for looking like pumpkins so why try to make ourselves look that much more of one?

Glow sticks? It's not like the stadium is completely dark, or even mildly dim. With the lights on at night it's almost like daytime anyway. Glow sticks would be epic fail. If this ends up being true, then whoever thought up this lame-brain scheme should lose his or her job.
