Goodness why why why do I come to these basketball forums....its one big argument and no real info put out...I don't mean occasionally...I mean every stinking time I try to come and enjoy a little good info a verbal "I can impress you and out verbalize you" middle school slobber that I just cant take from supposedly grown mature fans...OK...I'll leave now and you're right...no one put a gun to my head and made me come it...
Wrong answers, TGO. Tyndall is going after a complete dismissal of his penalties and the return of his coaching career. Money means nothing and he will not settle if it does not include that. All I can say is that the NCAA with their hundreds of lawyers and millions of dollars had to request a two week extension beyond the 30 dayus to respond to the appeal brief. It hit them like a ton of bricks. They are nailed to the cross and their response was a joke. Their lies to Dave Hart got Hart fired after the appeal brief was submitted and dragged Tennessee into a federal lawsuit. If Hart and the Vols had stuck by Tyndall, he would still be our coach and would have had a 8 or 9 game suspension for coach control. All would have been well on Rocky Top if not for the actions of Dave Hart. Now the chickens are coming home to roost. Like I said there will be a movie made about this titled, "The Man Who Destroyed the NCAA." Yep, it's gonna be that good, sorta like winning a National Championship.

One other point worth mentioning. Tyndall was fired and received no severance payments from Tennessee. But Tyndall does not seem to have any ill will directed towards TN. That makes me theorize that Tyndall was given a severance package of some sort privately from booster(s) on Tennessee's behalf which included an agreement with language requiring Tyndall to not hold UT liable, not litigate against TN, and not speak disparagingly against TN.
Tyndall was just on ESPN Radio Lexington for 25 minutes. He is on at 6:05 every Tuesday. Howard has zero evidence. The NCAA has no evidence except the lies they paid Howard to tell. Tyndall said everything the NCAA told Dave Hart on the Thursday night before he was fired was proven to be untrue. He also said that he prays "15 times a day that the Appeal Committee will do what is right. "60 Minutes" interviewed him and his lawyer 2 months ago. They will be interviewing him again on September 13, 5 days after his appeal hearing. That decision will not be know for 60 days. I always link these interviews as they occur if there is an audio link so stay tuned. That's possible.
Today's political climate (Trump rebellion), I kinda think Tyndall's lawyer is hoping for much more than a monetary settlement.
I'll be very interested in what 60 Minutes brings to light.
Howard will have to have solid evidence.
You've been on this board the whole time and don't know that Schofield and Phillips are Tyndall's recruits????? Yeah, Forbes took over a program with six returning players and finished second in the SouCon with a 24-13 record, buddy. Tyndall took a program with four returning players, was hired after NSD, and finished 16-16 with victories over 2 ranked teams and 5 SEC road wins. Barnes has done nothing recruiting wise in two years.I wouldn't call Alexander, Schoefield, Phillips, and Turner a total recruiting bust. Kasongo flamed out, but Barnes needed some size and the 2015 recruiting class had already been picked over. It was a reasonable use of a scholarship. Even though Kasongo contributed very little in the games, it helped Alexander to go up against him in practice
Why is it on Barnes that year 2 is a freshman laden team? That is generally going to be the case when anybody takes over a program that's a blazing dumpster.
You seem to not understand that if things get released to the media, they are fair game. If it was not going to be released, why did the lawyer say it was going to be released?

Evidently it was released to Gary Parrish and CBS sports. He's posted a couple of articles quoting it.
PS I'll see if I can locate some of them.
Here's the first. Obtained from a source he says:
Former Southern Miss coach Donnie Tyndall files appeal with NCAA - CBSSports.com

Ex-Southern Miss coach's attorney says NCAA missed chance to answer appeal - CBSSports.com
Sorry to ruin your fun boys. But fair is fair.
Thanks. A simple post like this would've sufficed. It's not anywhere close to being enough to convince me the guy is innocent, but it does show that someone with access did what I figured they'd do rather than SeniorDrill's newfound high regard of the media's morals and him acting like Tyndall gave him the appeal and made him pinky swear not to tell.

It was released. The problem is that the media told the story of the NCAA report like it was the truth and did the public a strong disservice. Their jaws dropped when they found everything they reported was wrong. Some, those with courage, are actually bringing the story to the public like Dr. David Ridpath, President of the Drake Group, and Forbes magazine contributor, numerous ESPN radio outlets, 60 Minutes, etc. You gotta remember those that make their living reporting for certain universities cannot present info unfavorable to said entities. That would not be productive for them. Only folks like me can present the other side of the equation, something I am quite good at since I had a career solving equations. You seem to not understand that if things get released to the media, they are fair game. But you see, ole Senior Drill was right all along, and all of you were wrong. Finally that is being proven beyond any doubt and I promise you it is beyond any doubt. You always talked about these folks with inside information like they knew the deal. Don't like it when the shoe is on the other foot, huh? I listen to the radio interviews, all of them. I read the appeal all of it. That is available to many of you if you care enough to look. You forget, the NCAA forced Donnie Tyndall to not even have a comment on what was going on for a year. He was blasted by you jokers based on the fairy tale told by the NCAA. You swallowed their BS hook, line, and sinker. I did not because I knew he was telling the truth. All you had to do was follow the data trail.I used to ponder whether SD was Tyndall. He's often claimed first hand knowledge in other areas. Then again.
