I know Florida is bad, but MSU and Arky aren’t that great either, and we barely beat those guys. UT played up to their potential last night, with no self-inflicted wounds. It’s nice when that happens.
A lot of teams barely got by Arkansas, I wish we weren't playing them for the 3rd year in a row in 2026 and at their place. Their QB is dangerous.

He’s a very good coach and we need to keep him as long as possible and enjoy the ride. He’s not without faults but definitely don’t want anyone else
Just do something about fixing the defense. Thats really all he has to do. We dont need need have to be perfect on that side of the ball. Just need to be solid. We all know what needs to be done. I just dont know that anything will happen.

Both Taylen Green and Mike Washington(their best RB) are out of eligibility.
That's great to know Taylen Green has had some games and kept them close to about everybody sans A&M and that was close till halftime. I was under the impression he came in same year as Nico but must have portaled that year instead of being a freshman.

Next week will tell if Heupel is a good coach. We have to win at home against little brother.
Clark Lea is also a really good coach with good players. Next week should be fun, and it’s only possible to be fun if it’s also possible to lose. Otherwise, it’s just punching down.

Your ability to come up with terrible takes consistently is impressive. This isn’t 1995 Vanderbilt

Tennessee’s success is predicated on how they do against Florida, Bama, and Georgia. Now it’s going to be those games plus making the playoff.

If we are having to include measuring our success based on performance vs Vandy who’s having above average year, bless your heart.

Yeah well Vandy now is not the Same Vandy you're thinking of. You've lost your damn mind

Yet Vandy is tied for best season currently since the Franklin days. They would have win on Saturday for them to have their best season in a very very long time. If they don’t win and finish 9-3, they basically be tied with Franklin’s best season. This Vandy team is better than their average but they aren’t some juggernaut that has never been seen in decades.

I'm pretty sure Green was in the 2021 recruiting class for Arkansas and RS the 21 season, He has been their starter since the 2022 season, though. Also, you may be getting Arky and MSU mixed up. A&M also only beat Arky by 3 points.

Yep, you're right MSU played with A&M until their NFL running back Fluff got knocked out of game at halftime. Somehow I keep conflating those 2 teams.

Vandy is not the business as usual Vandy if you haven’t noticed
I don’t care if they were coming in 11-0, & ranked #1 in the country. It’s still Vanderbilt. It’s still Tennessee’s little brother. Beating little bro in football should ALWAYS be the expectation every year, regardless of circumstances.
