A high school kid beat Phillip Rivers at Rivers camp. Do you honestly believe that high school kid is better? Just saying. We can't assume Grayson is better than Bray for beating him in one competition.

Grayson visited recently didn't he? I know his family was coming out east and they wanted to stop in to check out UT. Just wondering if that's already happened or if they were still going to.

He made a quick stop. He was out here for Louisville camp. Coaches invited him to stop by and he did. There is a kiffin gate conspiracy because Kiffin may have been in town and in office and did not say hi. You can ask the ladies on here:p if you are in to this stuff.

happened. all he talked to was Orgeron. other staff was on vacation or busy. I think O flew in off vacation to show him around

first... he was at Louisville and they (he and his Dad) decided to drive down to Knoxville since they were in this area. quite unexpected... called ahead, but still unexpected..

IMO, he is a kid we follow this fall is why we didn't show a lot of interest when he dropped in. Be a lot fo kdis we follow this fall...

Garrett and his dad were contacted by the staff after they heard about him going to Louisville camp. They wanted him stop by. I think it was the night before Garrett called them back and said that he would stop by the next day. So Grayson and his dad drove down

His stock at UT probably went up today.

It seems there are a number of QBs that UT will be watching this fall.

Do you think Garrett will be patient with letting that process play out?

Screw it. Let's just offer Grayson now and continue working on Bray. Then we might end up with both. Sounds good. Okay then!

He has said he is waiting to see what UT is doing. We are his favorite without doubt. I think an offer from an SEC school is the only thing that might make him want to jump early. I believe Colorado and Nebraska are in contact with him regularly.

I hope is stock at UT went up today.

Everyone knows that the next few months are most of the time pretty slow on all of the recruiting fronts. I think he is just waiting to see how the process plays out and I am looking forward to watching his season this year. Right now there isn't much else he can do until the season starts.

Idk Vader. Who knows though. Idk why but Im not to thrilled with Grayson. He could end up being the next stud at UT but I'm not sure he's our guy. I really thought it was scroggins (even though I knew we wouldn't get him). I'm kinda curious how hard we go after scroggins. If we get him here for an official it makes our chances better but I don't see that happening. I really want more than anything though is for our staff to be hard after Lemay, Golsen ect. cause they are all from the south and really good. I will give the staff a break if they don't bring in the elite this year. But after next they have no excuse.

I watched Grayson's vid. I think that he has great escapability, and great touch on fade routes. Arm strength is OK.

I would like to see him throw some deep outs. This is a good test for a qb. I also never saw him "thread the needle" any. Has a tendancy to go to the dump-off guy too often IMO. Hard to tell about his footwork since he stays in the shotgun.

Looks like a low 3 star, or 2 star prospect if I were rating him. JMO, but he may very well improve some over the season.

That's not what I meant. Just wanted to know what the board may look like. But the new VQ article has already answered that...
