Yea. I don't remember anything on him from our guys either. I wonder at what point does our staff move on to the next guy because it seems like they never, ever, ever give up on somebody that they want.

If these rumors are true, and Sims does de-commit from Bama, it will be interesting to see if and how fast UT starts recruiting him.

I could understand if Sims just popped on the radar and is now getting alot of attention but everyone knew about him along time ago. What few records M Vick may still have in VA we be broken by Sims to go with all the other ones he broke his sophmore and junior year. He is not decommitting anytime soon so the rumor is just a rumor. That doesnt mean if our season goes poorly he might change his mind.

God I just can't wait until Saban decides to kick you bums to the curb like a used up hooker in a few years. By all accounts he hates it down there. And the funniest thing of all is that it's your fanbase that has made him hate it. Only in Bama...You are the typical Bammer. Slink in a corner for 10 years when your program blows and is embarrassed far more than ours ever will be. And then when you have ONE season of modicum success on the field (really you lost to Utah and still think your team is God?) you decide to stalk opponent message boards stirring up trouble under the ruse of being a neutral contributor. Pathetic man...really. Oh and I'm pretty sure almost EVERY one of your posts is about all these Bama locks that never commit. Why don't you just take a look at all of the bold prediction misses from this past NSD from AL's rivals site and tell me who thinks everyone is a "lean". Oh and that same site was just voted the WORST member site on all of Rivals because of its delusional nature. Meshes perfectly with your obnoxious fan base.

Ha, no. I'm talking about he quotes he gave BamaOnline, as in the Alabama Rivals.com site. Of course people seem to want to overlook the quotes, and continue to push the rumor, and for what reason I do not know.

I don't think that the rumors are speaking of Phillip, but rather Blake Sims. He's been rumored to be rethinking his commitment for a while. Nothing has come of it yet though, and if it does, it will be hard to get him from going to Georgia.

As much as I hate to say this, we probably should not criticize Alabama's recruiting given there last few classes. That being said I think Crimson Tampon fans need to stay on there own site. At least we don't claim that half of the Rivals top 150 are locks........:good!:

See I like it when the Bammer Homers are on our site. They are funny and say the darndest things. Plus it's funny to read the thirty posts after one Bammers writes something negative about the Vols.

I just don't see Philip Sims going anywhere. You never know. Our boy is Scroggins. Would be great to see Jesse and Philip duke it out once to twice a year for the next few years. Yeah I said it!

I do believe there are some fans that register with other sites to harass rival fans, but not all. The fact is in regards to Sims a rumor got started and because a few Bama fans said it was not true they are now flamed for it. The only facts out there right now is that an interview was posted just the other day per Sims that all the rumors about him decommiting are false. Straight from him. Maybe he is lieing but atleast that is out there where as this rumor fabricated on a UT board can no where be linked or a source provided that can substaniate any creditabilty.

I for one watch this site because it seems to have more updates on it than ours on a lot more of the recruits from around the nation. Again another misconception is that we think everyone is ours to have or not. I only use one Bama site and barely do they talk about any recruit unless they think he is good probability. Even Prater has us on his list along with quite a few that are posted here on the UT boards but you wont find one thread about them except yeah maybe they listed us but we wont see them.

Speculation if fun and can be exciting when it comes to your teams possible recruits but paranoia is just plain amusing.

There information may be 100% accurate but it is the way in which most of them choose to deliver it that results in the flaming...usually.

I totally agree but every fan base has those that we all wish we didn't have, but they are fans none the less so be it and we must live with it. :yes:

Like I said I enjoy this site because UT is possibily on the verge of something exciting and being back on track, so alot more info is posted on recruits. Bama has had some good recruiting classes and another one on the way hopefully but it is now like we will wait because we have these and are only expecting those so not to much excitement over there and with having good recruiting classes in the past two years even when a recruit puts you in there final list you know your chances are small because of depth. But when a program, that is usually near the top each year, is rebuilding with a new coach and alot of intrigue is there, it is fun to watch what happens. Expectations are greater but also is the potential for UT to have an amazing 2010 class. Every top player in each position has to look at UT and say I could go there as a freshman start, get great coaching, and alot of exposure.

Again it is fun to watch this site and believe or not I hope UT has a top 5 class. I do want to beat you guys every year but I would rather do it when we are both top ten teams and the game could decide which one of us is in the Nationial Championship. Unlike some I want the best games every year and hope the competition can provide it.

Playing Bammers twice a year is something I am looking forward too. It will happen. Beating Bammers twice in a year will be spectacular.

Good to hear, welcome to the area!

Not sure what you were looking for but I absolutely love it down there. Not exactly an action packed place by any means but great fishing, good beaches, good surf (at least compared to up here) and plenty of good dive bars and restaurants to hit.
