Not sure yet, kids don't usually come alone, as we see with the 3 or 4 Byrnes kids at UT this weekend, so Hailes could be, but I haven't heard anything

Well We got to land either Heaps or Sims...Both would be super nice but doubtful...I am sure those phone lines are burning up right now

At this point I think we should be glad that the #2 Pro-Style QB in the nation (#52 in the Rivals 100) is looking our way.

Not to bank everything on what Rivals says, cause also if we get this kid that is a huge pipeline to the school...Askew and Sims.

The first time I saw him on film I thought he had to be 6'4 to 6'6. I was shocked to see he was 6'0. The newest Rivals profile has him at 6'1. I would venture to say he's a true 6'1 and probably near 6'3 in cleats. I would be surprised if he stopped growing short of 6'2 though.

I thought the same thing when I first saw him. He'll probably end up around 6'3 IMO though.

He's not the prototypical size that I thought our staff would be looking for. But then again Chaney/Brees duo worked out quite well in the past.

You guys all made good points. I guess just seeing the 6'0" kinda worried me. I thought Kiffin would go after a big guy like Blake Bell but I would be happy with Sims or Heaps. I am positive we will get one of the two. I trust this staff to make the best of it.

I have seen video on both and would be happy to have either. Sims seems to be solid per Rivals and Scout, while Heaps is rated #1 in the nation by Scout but did not make the top 100 on Rivals that is could see.

so is the kid we want, now, in light of the other guys committing elsewhere, and the improbability of getting Heaps?
