'10 TN QB Barry Brunetti

He would be a Duck lock if only Bryce Brown had ended up there like you thought.:p Don't get too caught up with the new BB. He is a Vol when we offer, it's only about timing at this point.

Does anyone on the UT staff have any experience running a dual-threat QB offense?

I do think it's awesome that he is also referred to as "BB". :)

what Brunetti said could be accurate OR staff doesn't want publicly discussed, YET.... you know like Pat Harris??? He was committed, then 3 hours later had no offer and now he is both (offered and commited).

:):):):):):)

I agree LWS. We fans know but a small percentage of what actually happens with these coaches and their recruiting tactics. But it keeps everything exciting...

They just said something about another violation?Espn set that up.

If it does come out that he has an offer.. will he commit immediately or play it out farther.. in your opinion

He's got some choices. And I don't think he's through camping this summer so I don't think he will commit on the spot. I do think we end up with him if we offer though. We would certainly be the team to beat IMO.

I really hope we can get Brunetti.....along with Scroggins or Hendrix, etc. If he impressed Kiffin and staff that much to get MVP at camp...that speaks volumns. He loves the
Vols also plus this would help us hopefully get into Memphis.

Wheaton I hope you're not coming back to start another Bryce Brown thread even though both of these guys could be referred to as BB.:)

At this point I think any somewhat bigtime QB commit will help this class. I am ready to get Scroggins onto campus and try to get a commit, if not then I think we take the first one we can get.

“I got verbal offers from Tennessee and Ole Miss,” Brunetti told InsideTennessee.com Monday. “I was very surprised by the Tennessee offer but excited at the same time.”

“I wasn’t sure about Tennessee, I didn’t think I fitted their system very well,” Brunetti said. “I had a great camp and they were very impressed with my performance. I have always liked Tennessee a lot, it’s kind of been a dream of mine to play for the Vols.”

“Coach O and I go way back,” Brunetti said. “I met him while he was the head coach at Ole Miss. We have developed a great relationship. He is a great coach, but there are a lot of great coaches at Tennessee. They have one of the most talented coaching staffs I have seen.”

From James Bryant's new article... Brunetti has officially been offered today by the University of Tennessee...
