What's the story with him? From what I can tell he looks to have excellent (6'1-2 320) size and a playmaker. Is he a guy UT is going to offer? I'm not seeing him on any of the top 2010 players lists. Thanks all!

He could be a little taller and he doesnt put out as much effort as he could. Maybe thats why he's not on any lists.

really? All I know is he came in second (Behind Jacques Smith) in Mr. Football 99 Tackles, 7 Sacks for a DT. There has got to be something holding him back from being on all the lists we're seeing put out for top TN prospects next year...I don't think the height would be a concern...effort is a different story. I guess we'll find out sooner or later.

Is he related to the McAdoo kid from Antioch that went to UNC last year?

"I got offered a full scholarship to Kentucky about 2-3 weeks ago" said McAdoo. "Recently, I've talked to Tennessee and gotten letters from UCLA and LSU. I would say that Kentucky is my top school right now, but other schools I have an interest in are LSU, Tennessee, UCLA, and MTSU."

Tennessee- "I'd consider them. I didn't grow up a fan, but it's a nice school and they have a new coaching staff so that is a plus."

It does seem odd that UT would give Montori Hughes a home, but not this guy. I know they were different coaches and all, but we will have to wait and see.

One person in the Boro suggested that McAdoo was a bit soft and not as strong as he should be. I dont know enough about the kid but this info comes from a dad of a kid at Oakland.

ask that "dad" was his son a Mr. Football Finalist. He takes plays off sometimes but he is not soft and he has the strength and disruptive natural to be an excellent "3 technique"

Mr. Football Finalist as a Junior is definately an accompishment. You cant be bad if you are a finalist. I wonder why this kid doesnt have an offer yet. Im sure when one of the big schools does offer, it will be a domino effect and the rest will.

Apparently Coach O hasn't got a hold of this kid yet. He'll come around.

"I only have the one offer so far," McAdoo said, "and that is Kentucky. Tennessee said they would probably offer if I came to one of their camps and prove what I can do."

The Tennessee coaches have established a good relationship with the McAdoo family, and call to check on Tim almost weekly. "They check to see how I am doing, and how my grades and stuff are. I watched Tennessee growing up, but I was probably a bigger fan of LSU and Florida State."

From Rivals...

If we want him, we will get em'. I believe if he did trim down to 295 like he says he will, he could be a nice DT for UT.
