1. Tyler Bray and Aaron Murray will have scouts drooling over a tremendous performance from two future NFL high draft picks.

2. Tennessee will show that Georgia is not the only team that can run a balanced productive offense.

3. Raijon Neal and Justin Hunter will have 100 yard performances.

4. CP will have an NC State like game against Georgia (where he will lead the team in all purpose yards).

5. Mychal Rivera will be a force to be reckoned with as he terrorizes safeties and linebackers.

6. Both defenses will be tested for all they are worth.

7. McCullers and AJ Johnson will be the bright spots on Defense as they will do their jobs well.

8. Tennessee will get tested through the air and will give up similar results like Glennon had in game 1 (yardage wise).

9. Georgia will play sloppy early (as they have in 3 of 4 games) and Tennessee will play well early (as they have in 3 of 4 games).

10. The winner of the turnover battle will win the game.

Predictions:

Surprise Contributor: Offense: Pig Howard (Downs may surprise as well)

Defense: Willie Bohanon

Yards: Passing- UT-312 UGA-276
Rushing- UT-171 UGA- 192
Total- UT-483 UGA- 468

Score: UT-34 UGA-30

Turnovers: Tennessee 1 and UGA 3

Reasonable Prediction

I agree that CP has to be heavily involved in our offense for us to win.

I'm not sure that you can count the Akron game as one where we showed up to play well early, considering the pick 6 on the opening possession.

Anyways, I still enjoyed the read.

Go Vols.

(1) Bray gets 325 yards passing and 3 touchdowns.

(2) Hunter gets 1 touchdown and 100 yards reciev.

(3) If we are toe to toe with UGA late in the game,
we will win. If UGA gets a big lead in the game, AT ANY POINT, then we will give up and not even attempt a real come back.

Not feeling up to a game prediction. But I doubt Murray becomes a very high draft pick. He's too short and not accurate enough.

So Bray is gonna make a complete turnaround and not play like a spoiled brat?

The defense won't fold in the second half?

The running game won't be stopped by the Bulldogs?

I just saw a pig fly!

100% agreed on Murray and his accuracy. That offense would be beyond lethal if he had a consistent deep ball. With that said UT's been known to bring out the absolute best in opposing QB's here's hoping he stays asleep.

That's the kind of game we need to win. We have no chance to throw the ball if we can't establish the run... they will pin their ears back and come all day.

What WILL happen gameday most likely:
1. I will drink an excessive amount.
2. I WILL eat the best ribs in the country for dinner.
3. I will watch the game with half of my brain hoping against hope and the other expecting the expected.
4. I most likely will be disappointed but not surprised.
5. I will cheer for my Vols and scream and holler at the TV, cuss, jump up and down, pray, laugh, and cry. Yes, my Vols do this to me no matter who is the coach or who our team is.

Just another game day.

I like your post. I think you are dead on. Our running game is coming around. We obviously have good receivers. What it always boils down to is turnovers and both Bray and Murray have a history of the pick six. It probably comes down to our RB's holding onto the ball. I would like to see Lane get more carries when it is down and distance. I feel good about our chances!! GBO
