'10 SC DE Brandon Willis

I am not sure about that. Wasn't that why Brown wanted a release? Now that he doesn't have it he has to sit out a year.

No, Brown needed the release so he could be put on scholarship immediately. he can not play.
No DI player can transfer to another DI school without sitting out a yr unless they are granted a waiver by the NCAA

Brown would have had to sit out anyways, but he could be placed on scholarship. Willis has yet to play a game for UNC. Not sure if it matters though.

wasnt he an early enrollee at UNC? if so, then he must
sit out a yr as well unless granted a waiver by the NCAA

I understand having your father involved in your decision of where to play football, but the involvement of some of these fathers is ridiculous

have a little sympathy? i heard he lost his mom. losing a parent is tough. i would want to be close to family as well if i were his age.

wow really? I hadn't heard that. I remember during his recruitment something about her being sick. If true, stay strong BW.

What does that have to do with anything? his dad was living somewhere down in florida.

Are you kidding me?? Are you really that insensitive??

Brandon just lost his mom -- his dad just got a new job in California and Brandon wants to be around his dad and have a bit of stability during this period while he is grieving for his mother, so he is transferring to UCLA to be near his dad.

What is it that you are having so much difficulty understanding??

Best of luck Brandon. I can't imagine trying to cope with the loss of a parent at that age
