How do you come up with saying that someone who put in the work and made the grades to graduate high school in 3.5 years will probably be academically ineligible?

I'm sure they have tons of bullcrap majors. Every university does.
My grades were mediocre and I could have graduated half a year early also. I chose getting out early all year for my senior year instead.
Academically, North Carolina is one of the top schools in the country.

You don't seem to understand how this works. I went to two of the better schools around, on without athletic scholarships, and players did just fine, though they were clearly substandard students, for the most part.
Everyone isn't the same.
Doesn't matter if some of the stuff I've heard is true. I know a couple people that went Texas while Vince Young was there. According to them he really didn't even do his own work. Teachers assistants and "tutors" would do it for him. They also claimed some of the teachers didn't even make him take the tests. They'd just give him a made up grade.
I don't know what's true and what isn't but I wouldn't be surprised. Sports seem to be a hire priority. Look at Hoover's coach. It was proven he altered kids grades so they could play high school football. God knows what universities would do.

Yeah. You're right. I really don't know how he'll fair. I was just being slightly bitter about him leaving. I completely understand though.
You do hear about kids taking ridiculous majors and courses all the time though. I think Greg Oden's minor had something to do with rock history. Pretty pointless. He was never going to graduate anyways though.
i assure you that my almas mater weren't doing work for the kids. The way programs set it up, the kids have to learning disabled to fail. A trainable monkey can pass with enough ass kissing and professor slurping. Proves even more true the better the school. Tenured pricks love to have their asses kissed.
