Weird that he would say Willis is 100% Vol on the radio for the ears of alot of people...

And for the record, I'm not too convinced we hang onto Willis. I was certain that the Miami rumors were way off-base but there is something to the UNC stuff. Blake is as good of a DL coach as there is as well as being a top-notch recruiter. Butch is one of the best recruiters in the land. The VQ guys and NYC definitely have their reasons for thinking we lose Willis...

Honestly, he is probably just saying that because that is what every Vol fan wants to hears.

most everyone talks and acts differently when the CEO of the company is around, than when its just your friends. could be the same thing here.

OK...who is the BW of 2011?

If B. Willis does not want to be a Vol, I sure as hell do not want to waste anymore time hoping he is. I respect his final decision, but if it is not UT, I no longer am concerned about his future. Bring on the next stud.

I think when it's all said and done, we hold onto him. They have the momentum now, but it will be hard for UNC to pull him from UT when it really comes down to choosing what to do with the next 4 years of your life. The in-home visit we have with him and Miller being a Vol is going to be huge. Hopefully, CLK, CMK, and CEO can keep him here with the in-home visit...

Honestly LV, (not that anybody asked me) I really don't care what he chooses. I want kids who want to be a Vol. I want BW to be a Vol. I hope C. Miller and the staff can convince him, but if not, oh well. I refuse to waste time worrying about somebody who thinks their football career is better served at a second tier ACC team. (BTW, I realize there is more to life than football.) UNC is a fantastic school. If that is his main concern, I do not blame him. But I am thinking football ranks higher on his list.

well it would have been good to get him...btw im a canes fan..one thing a vol and a cane have in common...hate the gators....i just found this site and looks awesome even tho im not a vol i root for them(unless they play miami lol)...

I think I speak for most everyone on this site when I say that we HATE the gators. Welcome to the site btw. It has really good recruiting information about many prospects. The mods do a good job with it.

Gave Brandon Willis a call today and talked to him. He is one of the top defensive lineman that we have coming in this year. As you all have probably heard, he got caught in the middle of the hostess scandal recently. He is a very nice young man and very mannerable. He is going to make a great VOL and yes he is still committed to us despite the Miami rumours. He has a class with my son at Byrnes High school in Duncan SC. That is how I was able to meet him. I wrote an article on him at www.cityscenemag.com if anyone cares to look. It is great to be a VOL!!!!!!!!!!
