'10 SC DE Brandon Willis

After reading the latest article on VQ on Willis, I am starting to get the sneaking suspicion that he is somewhat scared of competition in a way. He seems fixated on playing early. Interesting turn of events for him.

I'm pretty sure UT and UNC are both going to give him an in-home visit before he decides...

I thought he was an EE. Am I wrong? If he is an EE, then isn't it too late for in-home visits? The dead period has started and someone above said runs thru the second week of Jan. Classes start on the thirteenth. Wouldn't he have to be enrolled before that to start classes? And if he does indeed announce at the AA game on the ninth, isn't that before the dead period ends? Sorry for the multitude of questions, just trying to understand the process.

You are exactly right Weezer. All those things are correct. AA game, can't do visits, and classes are in the mid teens.

I believe Willis's mother went to UNC. So that might be the connection. I can not remember for sure though.

Ahmad Dixon is committed to Baylor. Who is his leader? Torian Wilson is committed to Stanford, what about him?

Baylor is the leader for Dixon. He stated he wanted to be the first big time player to go there so that others would follow him.

You have no clue what you are talking about. Go watch nickelodeon or something.

The competition will not be less at UNC. They've done a good job of recruiting the DL over the past several years.

Willis has a tough choice and as of now has chosen not to decommit from UT.

All of the rest of this is just idle talk.

any info on him yet about the trip to maimi?no details on if he has commited or not or what??info?

Butch Davis can recruit and coach some D line.

IF he is waiting for something from the NCAA, on the review, we might have a problem. That might not get resolved til after signing day.

He said that months ago, and another big time player committed with him and is also looking around.

See what happens when you act like you know something?

actually midfielder he said that last week at the hawaii bowl... still think he said it more in defense of commiting there in the first place, and I don't think he'll end up there, but it was said a week ago...

DT is the one position that concerns me. I think we'll fill our needs but this maybe the one area that we might have trouble in IMO. WR is fine even if Ambles did decommit. DE we are loaded at, Oline we are in on so many great prospects that we will be fine, LB is a small concern but I think we'll be fine. I would just really like to see us lock up a few DT prospects. I'm sure Lane and company have some surprises up their sleeves though. We landed Jackson last year at S and no one saw that coming.
