'10 SC DE Brandon Willis

I may have to eat crow on this one. We shall see.

If Willis de-commits it will be a huge loss. We desperately need DTs in this class.

I just can't wrap my mind around a situation where he doesn't go to UT.

I think that these rumors are cantered around the fact that the situation for him to decommit is perfect

1. NCAA ****
2. Last official visit
3. recent comments about only 90% commited

All in all i think that these rumors are speculation, and he will be with UT in the end...although I have no sources so take my opinon fwiw

Rumor is that if his trip to Miami goes well he will commit to them this weekend.

EDIT...late to the party.

Note: Chandlet just decommited today and will head to South Florida due to grades. It is also worth noting this team had 2 of the top ten DT early this season but in the span of 10 days they lost Todd Chandker and Nix....I think they may end up with Willis since the pressure will really be on and the playing time will be available.

I dont think immediate playing time will be available at Miami for Willis... they had 3 above average recruiting classes prior to this one, Willis has a better chance hear i'd think, Miami is a young team

The local guy in SC today said Quarles said there would be some "signing day surprises" in SC's favor. I thought Willis and Miller initially. But if they are EEs, then that wouldn't match up with a "signing day surprise."

Where have I heard that before.

Yeah the whole EE thing for them is up in the air really. Willis is most likely to Miami unless UT can turn him.

As for Miller, I've heard Lattimore is getting in his ear to come to the gamecocks. Not sure how true that is though.

Until Willis commits to Miami, they have to turn him. Not the other way around.

Lattimore isn't even sure about being a cock himself, he is second guessing since Wolford left

Lattimore can talk all he wants, because Corey will be here in a few weeks. Keep thinking positive tho, say no to depression!

Willis would hurt but I think people are turning around his words such as he may have said if he has great time he could possibly change his mind and trying to say that he would def decommit but I think he would have to be blown away to change.

If he was to leave then the full court press will be on Thornton and Whitaker.

i think alot of USCjr fans are gonna be heartbroke come nsd. for some reason they feel lattimore is a lock.
