And I'm afraid GSP will get smoked in this one. . . the weight he'll have to put on will make him slower, and Silva's tentacles will give him a 4 yard reach advantage. Not to mention his speed. . .

not really negative. just reading into what he has said over the past couple of months. seems like in oct he was all vol book it. then in november still committed but taking visits. now it says he is going to decide. its pretty much common sense that the kid is having a problem about deciding where he is going to go. at best i would say it is 50-50 and pickem at this point. we could get him or lose him, but i don't know how anybody can say the kid seems like he is 100% vol at this point.

Not really, Silva fights at 185 and GSP 170. It would be a catch weight fight GSP wouldn't have to cut weight and I know GSP weighs more than 170 lbs. GSP is the strongest fighter in the 170 class period.

Silva walks around at 215. GSP cuts maybe 5 lbs to get to 170lbs. GSP is not anywhere near the heaviest and strongest fighters in his class. Again, sorry to hijack this thread.

And if Sab's response is any indication, he didn't seem too hurt by my teasing. He gave a non-snarky, sincere response. Despite the fact that I disagree with him on occasion (read: quite often), he is incredibly well-informed and someone in whose posts I place more credence than most.

Sorry to offend you. I am just sick of people making comments on how Sab/LV/whomever... was wrong about Luc. Wrong once about an spastic 18 year old.

Instead of criticizing the very people that make this website worth coming to, spend some time making constructive comments.

Please GSP is around 185 -190 lbs easy and Silva is probably heavier than 215 probably more like 225 lbs. GSP would have to train at that weight to fight Silva that is for sure but there is not another fighter that I have seen that can man handle GSP at this time in his class.

GSP walks around at close to 190lbs. I have met him in person.

What is crazy is Anthony Johnson walks around at like 205 and cuts to 170
