He has. Miller's facebook a couple of days ago said he was going to a party at Willis' house. And when Miller was on the radio last week, he said he talked to Willis earlier that day...
If you have to take one, Miller is the one you want imo...
And I think the depth chart is what is hurting us. For some reason he seems to be scared of competition...
Yeah but they were together all the time.... BFF.
If it's gotten to the point where we're saying "See they still talk!!" that only proves what I've heard. I know they communicate, but it's just seemingly not the same as when they were always together hanging out earlier this year. Not to say that being friends w/ Miller is the only reason he'd come here, but it was a big reason... so if that isn't as big of a factor now, it hurts our cause at least slightly.
I'm still holding out hope and I think we're still in it, but clearly it's not a solid commitment.
<----- At the end of the day, read my avatar.
That would be pretty dumb.
Yeah he must want to play DE if he is scared of depth because it is just Walls, Hughes, Nelson returning. Copeland and Smith coming in and Smith could eventually be an OL if DT doesn't fit him.
So he either wants to play DE which isn't smart or Davis and Blake are feeding him a crock of crap about our DT depth that does not exist...knowing Davis he is probably telling him it is dangerous in Knox like he did Miami..I can't stand Davis when it comes to recruiting because he is the dirtiest in the game.
You forgot about Jeffries. He redshirted this year. And John Brown is still coming here if he gets the grades. The 3 techniques spot is where Willis would play. The competition is Walls and Copeland. Brown, Hughes, Smith all play in Williams spot this year. Walls is pretty good and Copeland is said to be good too. Brown or Hughes might be able to play either spot. That is not mega depth but it is not like you can just walk in and get time. Willis is likely a redshirt here or at UNC looking at there depth. It should be just a matter of what coaches he wants to learn from and does he want to play with his friends.
And if Brown does make it in one of Walls and Hughes is not starting. Brown is very good.[/QUOTE]
Stupid comment. You don't know that. If Hughes gives 100% every play he has the talent to start.

Bubba our history goes way back for those who remember. I am sorry you hold grudges and did not even read what I wrote. All I will say is just like I told you we would hire Kiffin and you insisted we should hire Kelly. You even insisted Kiffin was an idiot you called me tons of names it is cool. Again you were proven wrong and just like it has happenned many times in your life it will happen again.
I didn't mention Jeffrey or Brown since they are up in the air...Jeffrey has been rumored to move to OL/Guard and Brown hasn't signed yet for whatever reason despite Juco signing day being open
I agree Brown will be a good one but there is not a set rotation that Willis should be afraid of....Walls and Hughes are favorites but no guareentee they will be the starters and that Willis couldn't beat one of them out. we rotate alot so it be shocking if he wasn't in the rotation

I never insisted Kiffin was an idiot so you are wrong there. I did call you out because i thought some of your posts were just plain dumb. I do not hold grudges. I did not insist we hire Kelly i thought he was a good coach and hoped we hired him. So you are the one making false accusations. To say that Brown will start when he has not even played a down of D1 football is idiotic. I know you would like to be like Vader, Montrellhardy, Sab, and those guys who seem to be more in the know about what's going on but....you're not. Sorry.

Duncan (S.C.) Byrnes defensive end Corey Miller and teammate Brandon Willis were both once Florida State commits. Then, the two Rivals100 prospects switched their pledges to Tennessee. Even then, there has been much talk of Miller still looking around. However, he confirmed on Thursday that he plans to stick with the Vols.
If he wants to start as a true freshman on the D-Line, it will not happen at UT. He would be behind Hughes and Walls at DT, and would be behind Martin, Walker and his boy Miller (at least) at DE.
