Christian Bryant - Football Recruiting
Christian Bryant - College Football Recruiting 2010 - ESPN

He's been offered by Vanderbilt and Stanford, so you know that he's got solid grades.

Video: 2010 Christian Bryant Glenville

Excerpts from a 2/11 article---

"I was real excited about the Tennessee offer," he explained. "Knowing that Michael Edwards just committed there, that really brightened it up. He's an older guy and we're real close so that offer really excited me."

"Mike has told me so many good things about Tennessee so far," he explained. "That's one that I'll really consider."

"Ohio State and Tennessee are probably my two favorites right now."

Sounds like Edwards is paying off well even before he hits the playing field! It would be nice to get a foot hold in OHIO.

It sure would be a good foot hold. I remember Jamario Oneal going to Ohio St. and I thought to myself he would have fit in down here in the SEC. He was an SEC type of athlete. I think Ohio St. wasted a good talent just like they are doing with Ray Small.

This has been an issue with UT for a long time with the old staff.

I am looking forward to the best players being on the field and not just the upper classman. The talent needs to shine not told to sit in the back and wait. I think the new staff will allow these kids to shine and we will see who wants to play!

I've heard he's gonna be the #1 DB in the country, but I don't know, I haven't seen any videos on him.

Ohio State guys seem to think he's a lock to them as well, but thats normal.

Getting Edwards out of Glenville could be one of the best moves we've ever made.

Don't know if he'll be the No.1 DB but he's a good player. We'll see high he comes in to start the season. I don't know if he's better than Joyner.

Going for another CTOWN boy, love it. I love the way this staff will go everywhere and anywhere to get their guy. Will probably be pretty tough to get this guy from OSU, but hopefully him and Mike are close enough that what Mike says will influence him greatly. Another good player from the 'ville is ATH Shane Wynn (class of 11).

I really hope Mike ends up playing a lot this season. He and Toney Williams are without a doubt the most underrated recruits we pulled in this class.

williams will be scary with the ball...talking about having to hit someone at the knees to bring them down.

"I am trying to make it to some spring games. Last week I was at Michigan. This coming Saturday I am trying to make it to Tennessee's spring game, and then on the 25 I am trying to make it to Ohio State. I am definitely going to be busy the next couple of weeks."

By the end of July, four-star Cleveland Glenville cornerback Christian Bryant plans to have a top eight, but that list could get changed if Miami, Florida, Georgia or Alabama offer. He named Tennessee, Michigan State, Ohio State, Vanderbilt, Illinois, Notre Dame and West Virginia as some of his favorites. Tennessee and Ohio State could be of particular interest. Former Glenville teammate Mike Edwards plays for the Volunteers and speaks highly of the new coaching staff, and Ohio State is a pipeline for Glenville. Bryant plans to visit with the Buckeyes on June 26. Unless the 'Canes, Gators, Bulldogs or Tide offer, this could come down to a Tennessee-Ohio State battle.

DB Christian Bryant
5-10/173, Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville Academic Campus
Bryant had one interception in four games and made it count, returning it for a touchdown. He locked down every receiver all day long, allowing only a couple of receptions to his side of the field and he combined with Anderson to form the best 1-2 punch in the secondary of any team. He and Anderson were a big reason why the Midwest team was the only squad to beat the Southeast on the day. The two will be a sick combination at Glenville and clearly have an unspoken feel for each other on the field.

Talking about him and teammate Latwan Anderson at the recent ESPN Champion Gridiron Kings 7-on-7 Tournament.

Oh Lord, LOL at this post. That shows just how much things can change in a few months.

Would be nice to get another one from Glenville. Edwards is going to help us like it says in the article. I think the staff would like 1 or 2 Dbs in this class.

Brunetti seems to think that Bryant will commit to WVU and thinks that it could help with Ambles. He is on Ambles hard to come to WVU but I don't think Ambles is paying much attention.

Bryant isn't going to go to WVU. Why would any good WR go to WVU? Their offense is horrible for a good WR.

Also, who in the hell would want to play for Bill Stewart? That guy is an awful gameday coach. I still cant believe they hired that guy after one bowl game win.
