1. Another bad loss to a subpar opponent. Time to stop making excuses for this team.
2. The flex offense has got to go. Teams have started packing the lane and we don't have the shooters to make them stop.
3. McBee/Pearl should never be on the court at the same time, USC didn't even bother guarding either of them.
4. Hopson is a cancer on the court when he isn't playing good. He pouts and brings everyone else down.
5. Tobias is by far our best player, yet we never run set plays for him and he is forced to spend all his time outside the 3 point line to touch the ball.
6. Props to USC's 5'7 point guard, that guy carried them on his back tonight and was unguardable.
7. Brian Williams is the softest 300 pounder in the country. Never have I seen someone that big contort their body when they shoot to try and get off a shot as if they were a guard.
8. The 10 man rotation is killing our momentum and the players' flow right now. Simply awful.
9. Tennessee has gotten away from the defense that won the Vill/Pitt games. And it starts with Goins.
10. Belmont will not be an easy game. I won't be surprised at all if we lose a 4th game in a row.

This team is like playing the current version of My Player on NBA 2K11. The best player stands by himself because nothing is set up to get him open and everyone stands around for 30 seconds until someone bricks a three.

Our best player had a semester of high school yet to go this time last year. We're just going through growing pains and by the end of the year when Tobias has more experience, we'll be a tournament juggernaut.

No discipline! Too many fouls!! Coaching is horrible. I say cut our loses, and move on. No one coach or player is bigger than the program! We've gone as far as we are ever going to go with CBP. Of course, MPO.

3 observations from last 3 losses:
1. bad shooting from the filed-Vols beaten from here by opponent.(Vols need to hit 45% or better)
2. 3 point shoting is terrible(Vols need to hit 37% or better)
3. better leadership needed.

Vols will be lucky to be in top 30. Vols will be lucky to be 4th in the SEC East and may not make the NCAA tourney. Bruce has to make some decisons quick before the team falters even worse. Vols will have 4 losses before starting SEC games.

At this rate we won't make the tournament.

At this rate we won't make the tournament.

Technically, at the rate we've played thus far, we finish the season 23-10 with several big wins and bad losses.

Perhaps we stay in the valley of the shadow of death.

Perhaps not.

I have never said one bad thing about Pearl!!! But with the UNC char. and ucs game last play in both of them was really freaking BAD!!! And Pearl JR. when he was on the court they would leave him alone and put his man under the basket!! Maymon is back Pearl nor Mcbee should even see the court! They are horriable! We need an 8 -9 ma rotation.

Goins-Golden
Hopson-Tatum
Harris-maymon
fields-hall
Williams
This is all need on the court at any time! Anyone of these players are a threat!
Pearl-mcbee or scout team members with offense at all!!!!!
Hopson

Williams needs to get his money back from that masked fitness guru he went to this past summer. He's still as soft as ever with a vertical jump around 3 inches.

Im not saying Williams 40 minutes a game! Im saying thats the only players that need to on the floor!! Williams is a 300 pound baby but atleast they respect him in the paint. Unlike Pearl are mcbee! I mean Pearl was wide open all night! USC plays man so they had 5on 4 the entire time pearl was on the floor.

Was Lane Kiffin at the game tonight? If so, what was the crowds reaction?

No he was not. If he would have been I am sure we would have greeted him with open arms. Open from emptying our popcorn and sodas onto him. And people thought the Pistons and Pacers brawl at the Palace a few years ago ended bad. Ole Lane Kiffin would have been terminated from existence!

I just remembered there was so much talk in the offseason about him coming to this game. Obviously it was meant to just rub salt in the wounds, little boy wonder has never been the type to back up his words with action so it doesn't surprise me he didn't make it. However, I would have felt pretty bad as a VOL fan and alum if we had inflicted any type of bodily harm on him. Sticks and stones... I thought some of the word exchanges could have been interesting though...

Maymon can't play three, and it would actually be entertaining to watch Williams lug his butt up and down for fourty minutes. :eek:lol: I guess you meant for hall to help at the five as well, but I couldn't resist the thought. :naughty:
