Blake Bell is a perfect fit for pro-style QB. Already runs a very difficult system incredibly well. He would be amazing. Watched him play a couple of times this year here in Wichita. Great build and arm. He is a junior...2010 QB.

Blake Bell - Football Recruiting

And of course, we need to contact bryce brown. Best football player I have ever seen live...wow.

We have a hard time swaying Kansas kids...unless you go to Coffeyville JC

Brown is committed to the U. Has been for a while. He loooked pretty good at the AA game as a receiver.

brown is very very soft...like a feather with Miami...I think he is looking for a way out of it actually. rumors here in wichita is that big brother is not extremely happy down there. That is a hard move from wichita to miami. the browns are very quiet, shy, sort of low key guys. Brown would be great in K-town.

Why are you saying that Blake Bell would be a perfect fit for the pro style offense when he's listed as a dual threat?

He's basically a slower version of Pryor with more accuracy.
He's like, a pass first dual threat guy.

Plus he's 6'6, 200, and he still has time to grow.

Bell looked pretty good. Big kid. Seems to stay in the pocket and stay with the play. If it does break down has decent feet for a big man. When he did move seemed to be still looking downfield for his recievers. I wouldn't mind seeing the guy here. He looked to me more like a pro style QB.

Notre Dame just offered Bell, the talented quarterback from Wichita (Kan.) Bishop Carroll. His coach said the Irish offer came in about 30 minutes ago.

Georgia has offered. He says he isn't a lock to stay close to home like some have said, but that is is open to everyone and is interested in the Bulldogs. UCLA and Clemson also offered this week.

A lot of people seem to think he's going to Oklahoma.

Texas has already quit recruiting him since they got Connor Wood.

Along with Robert Crisp, I would want Bell above any other prospect. However, I think he'll end up at OU.

I know when people say they know somebody that knows somebody that knows somebody it usually isn't taken for a crap but really...

on of my best friends cousins goes to the same school as Bell and knows him personally and he's supposed to be a huge OU fan and it's his dream school so you can take that for what it's worth

Didn't see anywhere where it said we have offered Bell. Just Brown.

The list: Arizona, Clemson, Colorado State, Georgia, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, LSU, Maryland, Miami, Missouri, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and UCLA.

When I talked to Schuckman on Thursday, he added Oregon and Tennessee to the mix.

I would take this guy over Heaps. He's got a lot more upside. I'm not sure that Heaps is really THAT talented, just an extremely hard worker (and i'm not taking anything away from that). Personally, I'd take talent and let our coaching staff develop him. If we get him, he may not start day 1, but by sophomore/junior/senior year, he could be and absolute BEAST.

Bell says he is very interested in Missouri and the offense they run. He hopes the Tigers offer, but lists Kansas a his early favorite and talks about how much he likes the Jayhawks.

Oklahoma is the most recent to offer...also has offers from Arizona, Miami, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Nebraska, Maryland, West Virginia, Iowa, Iowa State, Colorado State, UCLA, Clemson and Georgia...says ND told him they would check his film and get back to him about an offer. <!-- / message -->
