If the freshmen have the tools, and can grasp the playbook/system by the first game next fall...why wouldn't they play them over someone who also has little or no playing time (in CLK's system)? CLK is chomping at the bit to fill the fridge with his groceries, if you catch my driff'.

Stephens will start over a true freshman but not likely to start over a Juco. jmo

Don't expect for Simms to get an offer.

Don't know the specifics as to why. It's just not going to happen.

X says or was saying differnt as of a week ago, he saomething to the effect unless simms shots himself in the foot expect him to get a offer. ill see if i can find the link.

I couldn't care less what X says. Simms is very unlikely to get an offer at this point.

going back and looking at your mock list its verry obviouis that you have an inside source:eek:k:

mine was also about as accurate as a 38 at 50 yards but in the last couple of months when x speaks i listen and put stock into that.

BTW, looks like your boy Munchie couldn't even get an offer to a decent school. Your judgment is already in question.

So happy simms it looks like is not coming. Although stephens and bray are not blowing me away. I am starting to believe the coaches are going with stephens.

Bray has some amazing potential.

I'd rather have an awesome 2011, than a Simms anyhow.

What good NFL QB's has the likes of Colorado and Oregon produced lately?

Coming from an "outsider" on the situation, you seem a tad jealous of Sab's insight and "sources", IMO. Not everyone gets everything right.....its recruiting for God's sake!

He didn't have a committable offer to Oregon. He didn't have many committable offers at all, really. Makes you wonder how many offers he "invented."

Kind of like I suggested he "invented" the UT offer back in June and was flamed for it.

Not surprised. HE wont be a successful college QB, IMHO. He will switch positions to get PT.

never said colorado or oregon had produced any good NFL QB's and i didnt say good QB's i said NFL qb's , i also said i would rather play for a top tear D1AA school as colorado, only because at this point my wife wouldnt like the benifits program they had.

tulane produced several NFL QB's over the years
even though its not rich brooks and company i belive this guy named tom brady came from michigan, thats 2 off the top of my head even though tom brady in the spread almost makes me wana chuckle.

as for the 2nd half of your statement, ahh im in a good mood so im not going there today.

We may not offer Simms, but I don't think this staff is done @ QB. I wouldn't go to sleep on the guys who are committed to ND, that coaching staff is about to be toast. Hendrix and Reese were both high on our list before they committed to ND.
