What does Simms have to do with Newton? Simms is a clipboard holder. Newton is a potential star. I say we go after him and tell him its his job to lose.

Oklahoma is now making a hard push to land Newton...I guess they feel he is athletic enough to play in a pro-style type of offense...Hmmm....Interesting don't you think?

Call me when Nick Saban or Pete Carroll starts showing interest in Newton.

This guy fit Florida's offense perfectly yet still fell behind Brantley who is a pro-style QB. Does that not raise a red flag for anyone?!

I didn't know Oklahoma ran a pro-style offense. I thought they were running the Spurrier Offense.

Newton was actually ahead of Brantley and was the 2nd string QB, but got hurt and then got into trouble. The kid is good and would have had a good chance of starting next year had he remained out of trouble and kept healthy.

I agree. IMO I think he would have been the best shot at making an immediate impact next year.

Bray will probably redshirt. That leave Stephens and Simms.

I will say what you guys will say. Kiffin disagrees.

How do we know that its may not be ability as a QB as much as it may be his attitude.

If so I agree with Kiffin let him go. I just dont think it is his ability didnt get him the offer.

TOS is saying this Top 3 are MSU, Zona and Louisville. Hear he's Strong's number one target, he's visiting him this week. IMO that would be "best" place for him to restart his career and if he wants to have any NFL chance think UL over MSU anyday.
