If he panicked and threw it out the window that means he KNEW it was stolen when he bought it. That is certainly a honorable character trait.
You must be Mr. Paul PureBread, cause you've obviously never done anything wrong. Everyone has took something that wasn't theirs one time or another, weither it was money or some candy as a kid. I'd bet he regrets what he done and has learned from it. Everyone deserves a second chance even you.

Jacking a computer is hardly comparable to shoplifting a piece of double bubble.

Larry, if we get neither Simms nor Newton, do you think NS starts next season, we go with a Frosh, or is there another Juco in play?
Nobody knows the details of the case, but it's certainly within the realm of possibility that he didn't care where it came from when he bought it. Electronics drop through the floor in value after they are purchased. If he panicked and threw it out the window that means he KNEW it was stolen when he bought it. That's just it...you keep inventing your own facts. Nobody ever claimed he knew the laptop was stolen. That's always a possibility when you buy something 2nd hand...and again, electronics aren't worth jack after you buy them new...so, it's pure speculative BS on your part to add in your own version of the events and make yourself both judge and jailer.I love it that people who want Newton to play at UT have no problem justifying his behavior. First of all, buying a stolen good with the knowledge that it is stolen is in fact the same thing as stealing it. According to the law there is a stiff penalty for this offense. I am a little confused. You guys are saying he didnt do anything wrong when he bought the computer and that he is a tremendous amazing 5-star caliber QB. So my question is why did Meyer not fight for him and try to keep him at UF? It doesnt seem to make much sense if everything you guys say it true.

Again...if you ever drove after having a few drinks...you're a lower life form than he is...you just didn't have your feet held to the fire...yet.
