There is a Scout article for those that have a subscription.

he has picked up offers from Ole Miss and Alabama. apparently LSU and Florida are contacting him, but haven't offered yet.

UT/MSU still seem to be the leaders. the article is mostly just recycled quotes from previous articles, though.

Heres a little trick i found. If put the headline into good, word for word, followed by scout.com and click the cached link instead of the main link you can read it whether you have a subscription or not. This doesn't work on very recent articles though, you may have to wait a couple of days.

He seems to fit the bill more as a nose tackle instead of a 3-technique DT. A 3-technique tackle lines up between the offensive guard and tackle. He is a 1-gap player. His job is not to block or get tied up in a block, but rather to be athletic and get himself into the offensive backfield and be disruptive. Because of this most 3-technique DT are lighter and more athletic than a nose tackle, and typically weigh more like 290 to 300 pounds instead of Carmon's 370.

But if he could lose about 30-40 pounds and gains some agility and speed he would be an absolute beast! Lets get him.

Alabama has about 5 other players with this kids size. Their line is like a bunch of sumo wrestlers. UT needs an intimadating big man 2 plug the hole.

Monte's system favor smaller, quicker tackles. However, it doesn't hurt to have a kid of this size.

"I wanted to sign with Tennessee out of high school," Carmon said. "But I didn't have the grades and as it turned out, junior college ball was my last resort."

"He's kind of like me," Carmon said. "Full of energy and goes full speed at everything. I like that. He's cool."

Rivals...
