just read on the VolNation Football Board that Corey Miller wrote on his Facebook page that Matt Milton 4* WR is all VOL! I went and looked myself and that is what is says...Matt, glad you decided to stay...Go VOLS!

we need Kippy to get in Ambles and Thompkins ear. KT seems like he's out of reach tho.

Thompkins is good as gone. Our only hope is if Matt Sims can get in his ear. He wants nothing to do with USC or UT right now... he wants to cut ties with all of it.

I think he may end up at Oklahoma or maybe Oregon.

If he never went to class, he could begin classes at his JUCO for a semester... I'm pretty sure his situation is different, we will see.

Going to classes doesn't matter if you signed an LOI. Once you sign that, your recruitment is over and you are at that moment a Vol unless you get released...

He would have to miss the 2010 season...he could play JUCO but that is it. He may not have signed it though or perhaps Kiffin shredded it in an attempt to get him to USC. That would be a Kiffin move.

Based on what the guys at Scout have said, he doesn't graduate JUCO until May so he couldn't have signed the LOI. We're out of the picture, he can still take his 3 years to play 2 anywhere he wants.

I'm happy that Milton is going to be here, I think any coach regardless of system can find a place for a tall WR.

the sweet thing is, height is not the only thing that this kid has to offer. go check his highlight video out on youtube it's pretty impressive. he's a great pick up and will be a great player in years to come.

Why is it that everyone is really confused as to what Thompkins did or did not do? All the different sites are saying different things. If I remember correctly he was one of the few prospects that didn't make it on campus by Monday. Did he make it at all? All I know is it sounds like he wants no part of UT. Who was his main recruiter?

It does not matter if he made it to school if he signed an LOI. I've been asking Hubbs for 2 days what is going to happen with Thompkins but he hasn't answered yet...

All I know is that they said he hasn't graduated JUCO yet and won't until May. JB said there was confusion and that he didn't graduate in Dec. like Simms.

i think hubbs said that his academic requirements for entry were not all complete, so he is able to pull out and go anywhere he wants (thompkins).

Talked to Milton, Bray, Jawaun James and Corey Miller at the bar last night and they all said they're firm. They were out partying and bar hopping together having a blast, said they're loving the UT experience. May have something to do with the free admission and wristbands we gave them though haha.

Stickin at WR. @6'5" 210lbs. had his best scrimmage yet going 4-63yds. Says ZRogers completely knows the playbook and has been very helpful in his development.
