'10 IL WR Matt Milton

I think he will be starting by his sophomore year and will without a doubt be the biggest redzone threat UT's had in a long time. He will end up in the Rivals250 after this season. He fits perfectly as the big WR that Kiffin loves. Him and Corey Miller are probably the two recruits that I'm most excited about. You almost never see guys that are 6'6 with his athleticism. More upside than Prater IYAM.

I called this a while back. He'll be better than Prater.

Can anyone sum up the new Milton article on Volquest? Thanks!!

Love the Vols, Love the Vols, other teams call, tell them I love the Vols, the fans are amazing and know my name. good article. Recommend a subscription. Well worth it.

no reason to pay for something that's available a few hours after it's posted.

Guess I am rabid and love getting the scoop on my friends.

We're not complaining....

People like you that get subscriptions and share summaries are the reason people like me can get this information a few hours later on here...:good!:

Milton being a running back in high school would help with him being a play-maker. His abilities with the ball are probably significantly underrated.

Thanks! I love that the staff has the recruits (and fans) so excited about UT football.

Happy Thanksgiving all.

yup, that move he made to RB this yr is what makes not getting Prater not worry me at all. Milton is going to be a Problem. I cant wait to see this red zone offense in 2011.

Milton, Stocker, Kenbrell, Markeith
[Swiper boy] Very scary [/Swiper Boy]

LOL

If Kiffin does everything like USC, he will have all 6'3" or taller WRs. With the Florida and Georgia Pipeline, there will be a lot of speed in the 6'2" or taller freaks, so we will have playmaker speed, but at the same time, the precision of a possession receiver, or Larry Fitzgerald walking around

"After I committed to Tennessee, I have been solid. I would never have committed had I not been sure of my decision."

Finally a 18yr old kid that knows what the word commit actually means.

Wow hes got a VERY short stride for someone his size. Get him in with the track coaches he could be so much faster and hes already fast as is.

His turnover is fast though especially for a player his size. That's why he can cut good for a player his size. He doesn't lumber like Prater. He'll be better than Prater and I'm not just saying that because he's a Vol commit.

was that one team called the orphans?
that's pretty tough.

his strides do look shorter, but he runs almost upper body forward.
once he got steam, they wouldn't catch up.

Milton highlight looks very good, but the level of competition doesn't look that great. Milton looks like he has a lot of upside with his 6'6 200lbs frame. Hopefully coach Wilson can get him ready to play as a freshman because Milton will cause major match up problems due to his height.

He covers 5 yards in two strides. So stride isn't as short as some of you guys think. Competition he is playing against is subpar though.
