Sounds and looks promising. Gotta love that size especially since kiffin helped make those big receivers the prototyes for touchdown makers at USC.

Now lets clarify something. Does this guy have great height? Yes. Does this guy have good size? No. Having good size isn't just about being tall. Yes, that has a lot to do with it but IMO having good "size" isn't just having good height. The kid needs to bulk up a lot to play college football.

Appreciate the insight, John Madden

So you're telling me a HS WR needs to add some weight to play college ball?

You're worth your weight in gold, John Madden!

Now...now here's a guy that, when he puts his contacts on, he can see better.

We dont need to bash anyone.

The size will come. He isnt much smaller (weight wise) than Marlon Brown at the end of his Junior Year. He is taller as well.

its not so much about the size as far as body mass goes when you're talking about a junior in high school... having the frame that he has probably along with big hands other tools that wide receivers tend to find valuable is certainly not a bad template to start with

"I'd say Illinois and Tennessee probably stand out the most," he said. "I went to junior days at Illinois, Iowa and Kansas State. I felt the most comfortable around the staffs at Kansas State and Illinois.

"I talk to those two schools the most, that's why I feel so comfortable around them. I think they were the first two schools to offer me a scholarship. I assume I'll be making a trip to Tennessee this summer because I haven't made it down there yet."

I am hoping for commits right after the dead period. When I'm down about recruiting I just go to Meat Market and read for a little. The Bible of recruiting.

He hasn't even visited and he still has us in the lead with his home state (which he has visited). Sounds purty dang good...

“I was supposed to go to Iowa for a visit on Saturday, but I had a track meet that got moved that kept me from coming up. I’m supposed to visit Tennessee this weekend.”

Milton said this today on Purdue's Scout site...

Hey Jack, i know you have a scout subscription, who does Milton say is his top 2 in a recent scout article?

Nothing new. Got a couple more offers---Indiana & Purdue.

He still says Tennessee and Illinois are the two programs that stand out. He was supposed to be at the O&W game today, so perhaps we've nosed out in front of the Illini.

Yeah with the way recruits usually love our visits i'm sure we'll be the leader after this weekend, if we don't get a commitment. I mean we were in his top 2 and he hasn't even seen the campus thats impressive.

I honestly hoped we would get a commit for him during the game but this obviously hurts. Hopefully he'll be back again and see that Tennessee is the right place for him. :)

From an article a couple days ago by Wisconsin.
