'10 IL WR Kyle Prater

I'd bet that the UT/Bama game will be closer than the USC/Notre Dame game.

Put these teams (USC, ND, Bama, UT) in order, best to worst. If you come up with something other than 1. Bama, 2. USC, 3. ND, 4. UT ... I think you're nuts or a homer. The better team won't always win, it's why they play the games, but I see Bama as the far superior team of the group. But believe me when I say that I'll be rooting for the underdog in both games.

It's looking like USC is still the front-runner, but OU is gaining ground if not surpassing them. We have a better chance at Scroggins (almost none). If any staff could gain ground quickly it would be ours.

Dead on. And with Illy struggling mightily, Hometown U isn't going to be making up ground any time soon.

I was surprised that he would even think about Illinois, but most every prospect gives some type of respect to their State school.

ND is the one struggling? :eek:lol: What is UT doing?

UCLA is hoping to be bowl eligible this year, Auburn's only win of any substance is over UT, but hey you kept it close against UF and got a nice hit on Teblow so you get some style points there.

I wish ND played UGA, UF, UCLA, and Auburn instead of Michigan St. and those powerhouses lol...:lolabove:

ND has become a joke. Beat somebody decent and holler at me...

Why is ND even this list? Because we were talking about USC/ND and Bama/UT. But whatever.

Prater probably wants to hang with his buddy Corey Cooper and have a good seat for the game this weekend.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
Notre Dame's in last place.

Not to shoot down anything, because anything can happen in recruiting, but I think it's highly unlikely..
I know our coaches are still in his ear, but Prater is a guy that want's to be.. " The Guy" and he feels threatened by our depth at WR.. IMO

^lol. Our depth at wr. This kid is committed to USC.

I'm not knocking what we're doing, but USC has some pretty talented guys in front of Prater on the depth chart.

Agreed, they are pretty stacked at just about every position. I like the way our staff makes the players compete to get on the field. If this kid is as good as advertise he shouldn't have a problem with our depth chart and he would have the same opportunity as all the other in coming players to play early.

What I meant, was coming to UT, he wanted to be the guy.. He will get notoreity at USC no matter what.. They run a pro style offense that he already knows he will shine in..
FOr some reason it sounded right in my head..

Looks like ND is coming on strong in recruiting.

If they finish strong on the field, the recruiting class could be very good (Top 5 or better). Spots are limited, but they'd make room for Kyle. Seemingly, a lot has changed in his recruitement over the past few weeks and he should have plenty of time to look around when his h.s. team gets bounced in the playoffs.

Hello, UT runs the same offense, just a watered down version right now. I find it hard to believe he will end us in USC, and he def aint playing for Zook. Now can OK possibly pull Darius White and Kyle Prater, I dont think so. I believe the closer we get to NSD the more teams are going to pop up for kyle prater. Hopefully UT will have a hat somewhere on a table in front of him on NSD.

Cooper is the key for this guy. In the rivals Whispers it mentioned Cooper visiting ND he also has a visit planned for UT. Prater could show up as well at that Visit. This one isn't done....
