I think USC will be our main competition here. Fortunately, we aren't dealing with a prospect who lives 20 minutes from the USC campus this time...JMO

I think OU will be in it 'til the end. They actually have a group of young WR's,(I think there's only 2 JR's and 1 Sr) so while there aren't as many, they aren't losing them either. USC is absolutely loaded. Bama is loaded too. I don't know much about the Illini, but it seems like we have a decent shot.

IMHO this kid will end up a Vol and I believed that even before today.. I am actually pretty confident he is a Vol

Chattanooga Sports Talk said on Wednesday that we are in good shape with Prater. Coach O and Prater dad have really hit it off. They also were 95% certain that Milton would commit this weekend. I guess they whiffed on Berry B. but 2 outa 3 ain't bad.

He said early playing time at Tennessee is perfect. That this staff would be one of the best to get him to the pros. He is going to commit mid way through his senior season. His only official visits he has planned are Tennessee and USC.

I think he will sign before HS football starts after he has some time to talk with his family. They have stated several times that they are growing tired of the recruiting process.

Our Red Zone efficiency would have to go through the roof with the Twin Towers on the field, and it just occurred to me what they also bring to the table in the running game...their domineering size should make them especially effective blockers on running plays.

Too bad Prater will be forced to switch to linebacker when Bruce Irvin starts getting all the catches.

I know you're just reporting some info. but I cringe when I see "Chattanooga Sports Talk" in any sentence.

wow just read the follow up article on prater's visit. how huge!!!! we got an official out of him, him and fulton talk all the time, and he sounded like he is really high on us. i thought we didnt have a shot in hell.

On GVX he says he only has two official visits planned!!

I didn't get that impression. If you are talking about the GVX article, it didn't say anything about he and Fulton talking all the time and while he was complimentary of the staff and the situation, it wasn't anything unexpected after an official visit. We are in it, but we are far from alone.
