'10 IL WR Kyle Prater

Once we get a QB on board, and possibly Milton, he'll come around.

That would be unreal. Could you imagine a 6'6 wr on one side of the field and a 6'5 wr on the other. Throw a speedster in the slot and what do you do to stop it?

Kyle Prater will be the next great collegiate receiver (think Keyshawn Johnson). This kid is dynamic, strong, fast, HUGE...the total package.

He is the #1 guy I want, but he would be dumb not to go to Oklahoma, in my opinion.

The Milton kid looks like a stud on film, but Prater is leaps and bounds above any other receiver this year.

Did you guys not ever think that the reason we are going after milton really hard now is because they know Prater isnt coming here. IMO Prater is the best WR in this class, but a Milton and Ambles combo i will be very very happy. Milton is a freak of nature too.

I think we will be in it with Prater before all is said and done. Remember the kid hasn't see UT yet. I don't think he will decide till late in the process. Alot can change.

Prater wont be coming to rocky top. Milton is our guy.

Can we atleast get him on campus beore we start this aint coming, oh he's a so-and so lock? It's still early and anything is possible. He is definitely interested, his fathers interested (very important) and the coaches arew still trying to work out a visit from him. So, let's stay positive and stop being NEGAVOLS shall we?

the reason we are going after Milton harder is because they liked him in limited film before camp and after camp fell in love with his potential...Kiffin is going after Prater, Milton, Cobbs, and Ambles with everything and wants all 4.... We are far from out of it with Prater...Fulton and O have him intrigued even more than he already was and he is dead set on visiting this campus for a reason... get him on campus and ball game over

Yes those are Prater's final four but I doubt he leaves the Midwest. He said he will visit all four, so there is room for another visit.

You can't say that. You have no proof.

Actually it came as a suprise to us that we were in his final four. Apparantly we hadn't heard from him in several months until he just called the coaches. Sims and him have developed a real good relationship. According to an interview posted on our boards by Sims it seems like it was him that got him really considering us. He stated they talk all the time. By the way he hasn't been on campus here either. I still don't think we get him and my guess is Oklahoma or Illinois.

Signing Scroggins would go a long way with signing WR's. Even Rettig will be enough to get a committment from a couple of guys. It is so early in the recruiting season and a lot of guys will change their minds. If Kiffin puts a productive offense on the field this season, with Crompton at qb, you will see a ton of players taking a second look at UT. I pray for a 10 win season next year!

He said we wouldn't get Milton either. Don't pay too much attention to his Illinois info...

This is especially true if Rettig's stock continues to rise if he has a stellar senior season
