'10 IL WR Kyle Prater

Not saying anything will change, but remember, the coaches said they don't take anyone off their boards and it's still a while till February.

"My dream one day is to play in the NFL," said Prater, who also put on a USC pullover jacket after his announcement. "That's why I picked USC.

Worded perfectly. "To play in the NFL". If he wanted a career in the NFL, he wouldn't go to USC.

Seriously though... good luck to him. I am sure he'll have an awesome college career. An awesome NFL career is a whole other story. At least he should get paid whether he does anything or not in the NFL. After seeing Mike Williams and Dwayne Jarrett, I will nickname him K3P0. In other words... he is version 3.0 of the other two. Sorry... lame, I know.

If We get Bray to commit to us, THEN the WR recruits and OL recruits will come in like a river...We are loading up on WR's right now and Cobbs would be icing on the cake but We seriously need some good O-linemen...Then We get back in the hunt!

I am glad I read through the thread, because I agree 100% about the OL. This class needs a few more, IMO.

Why not go to USC?

They are hard to pass up right now. Barkely is sitting there as a FR. fixin to get some invaluable experience this year. Even if he goes pro as a JR. these guys comin in will get at least 2 yrs. with him. Right now we don't have a answer for that. That should change, hopefully in the near future.

That campus is in a rough part of LA. They definately have a good product as far as the team goes,, what did they have like 10 get drafted this year?

I think it was eleven. Barkley should play four years and be an absolute stud.

Southern California received a commitment from Kyle Prater, a 6-foot-4 receiver from Proviso West High in Illinois. Prater chose the Trojans over Illinois, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Tennessee.

Prater had taken an unofficial visit to UT in August and planned to make his official visit with the Vols on Sept. 12, the date of the UCLA game. There was no indication on whether he still plans to make that visit.

I don't see him becaming the vols, but I hope he still come Sept. 12 and change his mind. Only time will tell.
