I feel very good about our chances with Prater in the future. Locking him up an official visit was what we needed to accomplish today, and I'm sure we have did that...

I think that we usually don't hear anything until the night after the visit, and only then if one of the guys from TOS can get in touch with him....usually once they leave town.

I imagine it will be nothing more than 'good visit...Neyland is great, coaches are great, etc.'

I agree with Lord Vader. If we get one of his five official visits after today, then we have done our job for now. I wouldn't expect a commitment this early, considering that this is his first visit to UT. JMO

Prater said the experience of UT’s staff in the NFL would increase his professional opportunities.

“That’s why you’d love to be in that type offense,” he said. “The offense will get rolling and get you ready. That’d be perfect.”

Prater said he’s decided on two official visits this fall: USC on Sept. 5 and UT on Sept. 12.

That sounds about right because he hasn't visited Oklahoma or UA yet both are two schools he plans on visiting. So yes USC and UT which does bode well for UT.

The other thing I like about the two visits planned already is that he moght get them all in September so he can commit early on.

Actually in the article it says....

Prater said he’s already visited Illinois, Michigan, Notre Dame, Iowa and Oklahoma.

Yeah. The article also said this...

Prater said he plans to make his decision by the middle of his senior season so he can graduate early and enroll in college in January.
