He will end up at ND, because of the pull of playing at the most prestigous school in the country. He is a mid-western kid and ND is ND. That said if they were to pull in the wrong coach I think he does not go there, and wrong coach I mean a Johnson or a Meyer.
I highly, HIGHLY doubt any recruit that doesnt have ND boosters for parents thinks this. It simply isnt true anymore.
If Weis gets canned, Rees will de-commit. It would be VERY unwise for him to enroll early at a school that basically has a lameduck coach. If he does that, and ND ends up bringing in someone like, say, Paul Johnson.....he has just wasted a year of his college career cause he would have to transfer before ever even playing a down. He is saying the "right" things in that interview.....nothing more or less.

I don't want to come off as saying I like ND, because I don't. But I don't think you should short change the golden domers. From my understanding Rees plays for an exspensive private school in Ill., and his dad is/was a coach. After a football player at ND graduates he will not have a problem getting a good job, because of their following across the country.
Now what if B. Kelly was to be the next coach at say 5yr/13mil. would Rees still go to ND?
No, Meyer will not take the ND job. If he does, it will cement him as the biggest idiot in the world.
This is a link to the Chicago Tribune article about Rees ... also they include Prater, Rees say's he will wait till Sanford game and see wht happens.... INTERESTING
