I have found nothing solid about Markeith and the coaches wife rumor. I have heard that there was very bad on and off the field attitude problems.

I think Ambles was being confused with Dexter Moody. I hope so anyway.

I have to admit that I am in the dark on this guy. It appears to be a huge commit but the last I read about this kid was that several on this board were putting out the vibe that he was bad news and other schools had dropped him. What's the scoop?

I will also say this might be the first big p/u for Kiffin and staff. I know people go ahead and flame away because I have heard everything about what he did in the spring. I don't see the spring as being a great success for Kiffin but for recruiting at UT. Most of those players commited because UT is a traditional powerhouse in the SEC and nationally. If Kiffin was somewhere else I dont think they would have went to him. Brown if it wasn't for his academic and tests concerns he would have signed on NSD and not been availible. Even with the others he still lost M Brown and I know you didn't want him but he was still one of the top receivers in the nation and an instate recruit. Who cares if you lose recruiting battles but you have to win them instate.

I am not downplaying this commitment but saying that now for other rival fans who questioned if Kiffin could recruit the right players and only got players others didn't want this shows they are wrong and he will bring in the talent.

No one has any hard evidence that anything ever happened with Markeith. Rumors are rumors, and if he did the coach's wife, I doubt he would still be on the time unless the coach is a complete pushover. A UGA fan told me that they don't know what happened, but that there was definitely an incident that happened in high school, that no one seems to know details about, which was enough for the dawgs not to offer the in-state talent.

His test scores were the issues for Brown. He had to retake them in March that was from several sources that interviewed him. I actually think Brown got a raw deal because the media make to much out of the so called advisor he had. He seems like a good kid and he will be an impact as a freshman this fall for UT.

If you are talking about Bryce Brown, you obviously do not know what you are talking about. There were absolutely no academic issues of any kind with him. Go look it up. If anyone is going to have problems with the clearinghouse, it will be Mr. Lacy and I still doubt that he ever plays in Tuscaloosa.

Who cares. We did sign a guy who sexually assaulted someone. If Ambles boned a coach's wife, I'm assuming it was at least consensual. Bring him on.

I also think some people feel that UT needs a QB and then the recruits will follow. It is alot easier to have the players in place that the QB needs to get a QB to sign. If a QB commited now and the season didn't fair well other players might not sign. But now no matter how the season plays out with Brown, Ambles, and Milton(Probably) a QB and others wont care they will look at where you are heading and see the talent is there.

The fact is he took them later and some believed because he needed to retake them. But again alot of rumors started to surface near NSD and some schools backed off. I don't believe the rumors and I think UT got a great back.

Also Lacy passed his course but we haven't heard anything about Clearing House yet. With Ingram Sophmore, Richardson Freshman, and Prowler coming in for spring I doubr Lacy will ever see the field. UT and UA will both have true freshman starting at RB this season.
