If it was Rubio, I certainly hope that's not a no-no. Whoever that coach/group of players was that he talked to at the end are from the school he's going to.

i like this kid but if he doesnt come to ut i wont hold anything against him and hopefully he makes it to the nfl with any team he chooses to attend

Some additional thoughts on why the call at the end was probably from USC:

1) Ambles tone changed dramatically. For once he acted somewhat seriously. I can't believe he would have taken the same tone with Rubio, a young GA.
2) Why would Rubio be telling him not to let anyone know? Kiffin likes the drama. Haven't seen that from Dooley and crew yet.
3) Seems like it may have actually been a player who called. Lame Kiffin and O seem sneaky enough to bend the rules so that a player calls but they do the talking.

after following ambles and after watching him on ustream tonight, i GUARANTEE he does something stupid during his commitment tomorrow. whichever hat he picks up first (if he uses hats), that won't be the team hes going to. who knows what he's gonna do, but i betcha he does something retarded. any takers on this bet??

There were many things Markeith said tonight that made him seem like a UT-lean. But I didn't like the fact that Greg Little and UNC's QB called him... But he really did get a TON of phone calls.

If he does, as promised, announce on Twitter at 8 tomorrow, I guarantee you the official announcement at 8:30 will be different. How did it take TO and 85 to get so skilled at self-promotion. This guys done it without yet finishing high school.

Its not USC. He loves the attention. Everyone on there was crazy UT fans.

When talking to whomever... he said "i know they love me". No one at any other school was on there.

Also... something missed, the person on the phone said something, and Ambles said " No thats from 2 weeks ago when i went to visit them.." His UStream status? "Visiting USC in the morning" 2 weeks ago..

I am going to say this guy is a Vol in the morning.

Another point... it is at 8:30 am in the morning. What time is that on the West Coast? Yep.

Does anybody wonder why he went all the way out to USC weekend before last and this past weekend decides to weather a snow storm to go visit the new coaching staff at Tennessee? The kid actually flew from Atlanta to Charlotte, back to Atlanta, and then drives with Lance Thompson to Knoxville. Why would he do that if his heart was set on USC? He did that because he realized on the flight to Los Angeles that "Damn, this is a long ways from home." Los Angeles is on the other side of the country over 1000 miles away. Thats a long way! Especially when you have a school like Tennessee beating your door down. He knows the coaches, fans, and facilities at UT better than any of the three he has listed as his finalists. The doubters can say what they want. He is signing with UT tomorrow. I know it. He knows it. Deep down yall know it. And it will happen tomorrow morning. Watch and See.
