Committed to FSU really early in the process. Has a UT offer and I think we might end up being a player if we can spin things right to him.

One thing is for sure, he does come from a good school that produces a good amount of talent.

As is stated in the thread title, he's an FSU commit as of right now. Other schools he considered were Tennessee, Florida International, Georgia, and Georgia Tech.

ESPN's scouting report says...........

ESPN said:
Christian is an athletic offensive lineman that could line up at either guard or tackle.

ESPN said:
A little inconsistent with pad level when down and base blocking; sometimes leads with the chest then has to reset the hands.

ESPN said:
Could be more of a dominant force if pad level was consistent and kept his power angles throughout the block.

ESPN said:
Christian has the athletic ability to be a very good offensive lineman at the next level. He needs to gain a little more lower body strength and continue to work on knee bending but has exceptional raw talent.

Former 'Noles pledge Ed Christian names three new leaders
Four-star offensive tackle Ed Christian (Valdosta, Ga./Lowndes), formerly committed to Florida State, now claims a top three of Alabama, Auburn and Clemson, ESPN affiliate Web site AuburnUndercover.com reports.

"I would have to say those three are the main ones for me now," Christian said. "I am still looking around, but those are the top three right now."

"I set up a visit to Clemson, but I'm not going anymore," he said. "Tennessee's head coach, Lane Kiffin, is coming Thursday to talk to me. I'll probably go up there for a visit."

"Right now, it's really between Auburn, Alabama, Florida and Tennessee, but I'm pretty high on Auburn. I really like Auburn. I like the coaches, the atmosphere….I just like a lot about Auburn."

Per Rivals... Looks like FSU is completely out of the picture. He is visiting Auburn for an official this Saturday. Hopefully, Lane can set up an official to Knoxville when he meets with him on Tursday...

"Right now, it's really between Auburn, Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee," Christian told AuburnSports.com earlier this week.
"I don't plan to rush into another commitment," Christian said. "I am going to hold out."

If he is looking to play early, we have a head up there. The rest have OLs that are somewhat young and deep.
