Relax, I just meant that there hasn't been a single update on his status in months and randomly he talks as if him to UT is a done deal. I always thought it was weird when people reported that we weren't pursuing him any longer.

Dress out dude and practice during that month not actually play in the bowl.

If TheDooley is hinting that we're taking him and there's smoke coming from Dixon himself you can almost go ahead and take it to the bank b/c TheDooley is as legit as they come.

I always liked Dixon as a prospect. He's a very good football player. He makes a lot of plays on the ball and knows what to do with the ball in his hands. If he is brought back he'll be the best return man in this class.

What are the chances the staff takes him? I remember seeing his HS film around this time last year. Kid can fly, and played against pretty good competition if I remember correctly. Personally, I'd love to have him. I am assuming he projects to play cornerback?

Played AAAA in Georgia. Kid has wheels and would prolly be starting PR/KR from day one.

This is one of the kick returners Dooley was talking about in his press conference the other day.

Staff is still talking with Dixon and looks like they will take him.

I really like our fortune here; If we take him, we may not have to take Lanier and could focus on better players or other positions. Let me also say that I wouldn't mind having Lanier too, especially for Wilcox's 3-3-5 looks...numbers are getting tight though.

Seems possible the staff will take the two juco kids (Lanier and Moore) and be done in the secondary.

Not gonna "burn" you, just respectfully disagree. In my opinion, the "Randall Cobb complex" that us local fans have, makes that a horrible PR move. The only way he could silence the critics would be to bring in that "mystery ***** recruit" and somehow get into the top 10 in the recruiting rankings, and that still may not be enough for some fans...
