No one is promised playing time. They do promise a fair shot at their position regardless of age or how long they have been with the team. Maybe, they throw in "if you come to TN looking at the depth chart, you will have a great opportunity to come in and compete for the starting role as a true frosh".

Ambles is 100% solid. Don't worry about him.

Meline is... ???... never know! Small, but should stay on offense.

People think Teague may move to D because Monte originally wanted him at CB very badly. Lane overruled him though and said he wanted him on O. With all of the playmakers we're bringing in at WR, it wouldn't be as much of a loss to give him back to Monte.

I doubt it happens, but thats where it comes from

i could see meline going to the defense. teague is a wr. natural fit at his natural position. jones and moore will be the best 1-2 punch in the sec next year. jones, moore, teague and then thompkins and milton being brought along gradually

GJones & Dmoe best 1-2 punch... hmmm I gotta see it before I believe it.

AJ Greene and Orson Charles would be my call on that for next yr.

I think we may actually need Meline on Defense with Vinson gone and D Rogan possibly headed to the NFL

Rogan wont leave to the NFL and AJ Greene and Orson Charles wont have anyone to throw to them

thats the point.

If Aaron Murray can win the starting job, I wouldnt be surprised to see him have a decent 1st yr for the Bulldogs

I dunno what it is but I believe Nick Stephens will have a very good season for us

Meline and 7 other EEs (Miller, James, Jac, Milton, Bray, Fugate, Simms) are already on campus and going through orientation right now according to JB. Thompkins and Willis should be in at some point today.

Miller and Ja'Wuan were at the basketball game last night.

They need to go to more basketball games then. They're recruiting more than players to UT, they're recruiting the sporting gods!

With the targets we are giving him, just about any QB on the roster will look pretty good. :) If we can pull Prater in, I do believe next season is going to be a huge pendulum swing for this program. It is a massive burden on any defense to have to cover two (not just one) 6'6" WR...a 6'3" speedster (Thompkins) another 6'2" playmaker in Ambles....and then an NFL caliber TE (Stocker) as well as Bryce Brown out of the backfield. This is going to be one tough unit to stop.

Milton will probably redshirt.

If our OL provides a good push on running plays, and good protection on pass plays we will win 9 games. If not I can see us winning 6-7 games. It all depends on the OL.

It's getting exciting around here isn't it :)

Fast forward to 2011...

Imagine Bray going play action to B. Brown and the linebackers biting because he's such a homerun threat...as Bray then drops back protected on each side by future NFLers Douglas and Green and protected up the middle by Revis, Fulton and Wilson he now has the choice of Ambles, Prater, or Thompkins...or he could dump it off to D. Jones who's curently in a huge mismatch with whatever LB has the unenviable task of trying to cover a WR in a TE's body...

Jesus man...the future is looking bright!!
