I don't know how much recruits base their decision on a game though. I don't really think they should. If they did, then all of our recruits would be looking really hard at Auburn b/c of how they beat us. UGA has some things to work on for sure, but they will be battling UT and UF in the future as well.

UGA is battling the one sure thing that kills recruiting, coaching uncertainity. You better believe recruits pay attention to who is going to be their DC and OC and both are on the hotseat at UGA.

Yeah, I agree with that. And sometimes that is the reason why a team performs bad. I just don't think recruits look much at how 2 teams do against each other and base a college choice off of that. But, who their coach is going to be is a different question.

I dont know, but Purdue is not a factor, UGA is where he is rumored to want to go. It looks pretty clear that he is probably going to be a corner in college, and with UT not having any DBS in this class yet, I dont see him going anywhere right now, could change if Kiff can land better prospects such as Ahmad Dixon, Victor Hampton, Demetrius Wright, and Dietrich Riley. Then Kiff might tell Meline what he told Thiqpin last year.

Im happy with Meline, would like to have Wright, would love to have Elam/Dixon.....and Riley can go to florida, or southern cal

Ah....gotcha man. When new members come in, and their posts are just piling on the negativity constantly, they are giving themselves away. If he/she actually IS (or thinks he is) a UT fan......definitely a weird way of showing it.

i am new to the boards guys but i am from knoxville, i live in powell thank you guys very much. i am seriously just not so convinced that this staff is going to be good enough to get the talent we want to get in here and then people will be calling for heads just like fulmer went through....my patience is just super thin. I am just going to expect more guys leaving instead of better guys coming

i am sorry if thats not what you guys are normally used to hearing here from brainwashed guys on the boards

Brainwashed? Did you see the way this staff finished last year's class. Have you seen the class we have at this point, or what about all the guys we are leading for right now? People decommit all the time.

Sure man....and what makes you think this staff cant "bring in talent"? Was it the fact they got a Top 10 recruiting class last year after being together for LESS than 2 months? They pulled players (Brown, TEague, Nuke etc) that the previous staff couldnt have DREAMED of getting.....or is it possibly the 19 early commits and top 10 class (that every expert expects to be a top 5 or even #1 class by NSD) they have currently assembled??? Like another poster said, you didnt start posting your junk until after Cobbs de-committed. What basis do you have for your negavol attitude and expecting us to lose all of our good recruits?? Take a look at the rankings on Rivals.....notice how damn near EVERY highly rated prospect in the South at least has us in their Top 5??? In case you cant grasp that.....its a GOOD thing. Having a dumb opinion is fine....everyone has had one or two in their life, but at least have SOMETHING to base it on that is even remotely factual.

This influx of idiots to the board is incredibly annoying. Having differing opinions is what makes message boards great..... but when you have people pretending to be Vol fans and bringing nothing of worth to the board, I think its time for the BAN hammer.
