This kid is very atheletic...he played qb also in high school...so he could very well be a fs or wr....

espn has him the 22 wr....highest ranking i have seen

Evaluation from espn

Meline is an extremely talented prospect who competed as a junior at a lower classification school and will get the opportunity to really up his game as a senior. He also has experience as a run-first quarterback and he runs extremely well for a player with his height. Has a lean, slender build and he must add bulk and strength. Is quick and displays good change-of-direction skills. Possesses long arms and a big wingspan to shield defenders. Is a bigger target with soft hands. Is a very smooth, fluid athlete that can accelerate and shows a second gear to run by defenders, but also be a factor after the catch. Looks to have big hands and can pluck on the move and use his long arms to extend and bring down jump balls. His open-field run skills are very impressive and he possesses a slashing style with the ability to cut and change directions well with little wasted motion. While Meline may be very talented with excellent measurables and speed, he is also extremely raw and must become a sharp, polished wide receiver with knowledge of how to attack coverage, feel it around him, locate zones and work to get open. He does not look to have an established foundation of the position yet. From a coaching standpoint, he is a guy you'd love to get your hands on because he has all the green talent that needs to be molded and developed. Overall, Meline is a guy that needs to be tracked and we expect he will see an increase in attention, especially as a senior. Upside is extremely high.

yeah it is, whats even funnier is the bromance that everyone in the media has for tim tebow, urban meyer , and nick saban

Not sure about Grayson

Well hes ok I guess hes no top 10 qb but he just seems like a guy that if we wanted him we would get him. I think if we have a couple of shollys left in about the last week in January why not offer I think he is worth the risk. Especially if he gains a 4th star or moves up to the top 10 dual threat qbs or do you think that would run Bray off?

I knew Gran would be a great recruiter, but he has blown me away. He is tearing up South Florida. Delvin Jones, Jose Jose, Ted Meline and Ralph Williams are all products of his work. Palardy is from the same area, but I'm not sure if Gran worked on him or not.

He's assigned to Luc and OL Torrian Wilson among others, and that alone makes me like our chances with those guys! Keep it up Eddie!

Gran was also the driving force behind Palardy. In fact, if Auburn hadn't fired Tuberville and Gran had stayed there, Palardy would probably be headed for the Plains next year.

Congratulations! Excellent pickup!

Good height, great speed & good hands. Just a little skinny and a little bit raw. Just muscle him up and coach him up some and he should be a really good one.

i tell you what tidal surge, i don't post on here alot.i like to sit back and read, and listen to everybodys opinion, even people from other boards.i gotta say your a class act.not like some of the other trolls that get on here.even though your a bama fan,its good to have you on here.:hi:

This is great! Another solid receiver, we are stealing talent out of Miami like theres no tomorrow, thanks to coach Gran. GO VOLS!!

Now if we can pick up a couple good OLs and Jeff Luc I could care less about who else we got

Meline was recruited to TN as a athlete.....Cobbs is still in the picture i assure you

If and when Tuberville takes another coaching job, does Gran stay here or does he go back with Tuberville? LSU fans seem to think Tuberville may end up their coach if he stinks it up this season.

He's a strong athlete no doubt. Just don't know if our coaching staff is itching to get another QB. 2011 class is full of studs and by all estimates is a better class than 2010 (one of the weakest in years). I think our staff is finished at the QB position for 2010. They wouldn't want to scare off a phenom from 2011 by getting a guy like Grayson who's upside might not be nearly as high as say Bridgewater (or whomever).

Bray's ours for the long haul IMHO

People all over the World! Vol fans! Join the Lane Train! Lane Train! Woah!

I don't mind TideWarrior either. I think that's the SN. Maybe I'm just thinking of Surge.
