How good is this kid?

He's very good. On offense and special teams he's what we wanted Nuke to be. He has more top end speed than Nuke. I haven't watched his defensive film yet but others say he's a beast on defense. So I wouldn't mind getting him.

I don't get this; why would someone verbal to the Gators as Meyer is possibly pulling a Lute Olson?

Dont think is an EE after all

Clark, like his teammate Gerald Christian, will indeed enroll at UF on Tuesday as one of what's looking like double digit early enrolling freshmen.

He's been recruited primarily as a kick returner, like Brandon James was, and secondly as a cornerback. We liked how asking James to only concentrate on returns early in his career worked out for him and are looking to take that path with Clark.

And you believed him?

My actual statemet was his scholly was/is based on him being an EE. I also said that Clark was in a odd place because UT likes him but numbers and they would have to miss out on a few prospect on each side of the ball before UT would take his commit at that point. UF offered Ace Sanders so with Dunkley coming into play and maybe Boone or Sticks then if he waited to enroll to take visit then he would be on the outside, none of my post stated anything about the scholly being pulled. IMO Urban wasn't going to wait for him to visit other schools.

Kid's scholly is gone....he's covering his butt by saying that it was because of the Meyer flip-flop that he's staying another semester which is bull... his offer had two parts: Matt and him being able to enroll early, but it looks like neither is going to happen so look for him to decommit and save face this week.

sorry didnt read it too well

When he sais that he wasn't enrolling earlier that meant his scholly was gone IMO. He then did a complete 360 once his boy got his stuff in order so he could EE at FSU, he was rethinking staying in HS because of what Elam was saying. If he took visits he ran the chance of UF not taking his scholly or waited on UT to miss on a few higher targets before he could give his commit, so in the end he decided to enroll early as required. you don't have to believe me, all this came during the same info I gave about Elam bs about basketball until he could get his FSU EE together.

Robert Clark Ath/WR/CB 5'10 170 4.5 Dwyer HS Palm Beach Gardens (FL)

The million dollar question will always be would the Gators offer Robert Clark if Matt Elam was not in the picture? The answer may never be truly known but one thing is for sure as soon as the Vols got in the picture the Gators decided to turn up the heat on Clark and the rest was history. Looking back on it now the Vols may have done the Gators a huge favor by offering. Once that happened it made it VERY easy for the Gators to offer and Clark was fantastic in the state title game.

the Vols may have sped up the decision on Clark but I think taking him was more about Nick O'Leary and Curtis Maggitt than Elam.

and hopefully the idiotic myth about Florida having so much talent, etc.
