'10 FL WR Chris Dunkley

I don't think you all will fall off the map, but with our current staff I don't think you all will be beating us 4 years in a row anymore.

I can live with that statement. I think we'll have some major growing pains if we don't get an elite QB to take over after Brantley leaves. I think Brantley will be great though.

I'm not sure we could have stopped Wynn, either. Our DL was pretty terrible and he was having a lot of success against us that night.

But he got so many of those 4 and 1's and 4 and2's. I don't see how we couldn't have stopped Wynn at least once...

It's not like Tebow running it was some surprise. Well, it actually might have been to Chavis. He's a little slow on the uptake (unless you're talking about potato chips).

Here is a brief article from the first game Pahokee played this year-"Chris Dunkley, a senior transfer from Royal Palm Beach, caught five passes for 158 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Pahokee Blue Devils over Atlantic 13-6.

Dunkley, the South Florida Sun Sentinel's large school Offensive Player of the Year last season and the Orlando Sentinel's 41st-ranked player in the Florida Top 100, caught touchdown passes of 73 and 19 yards from FSU-bound De'Joshua Johnson in the fourth quarter after trailing 6-0 most of the game.

Pahokee's stellar defensive back corps kept Atlantic WR and Ohio State commit James Louis quiet, but Atlantic QB Mark Leal did have a nice night, completing 11 of 26 passes for 131 yards and rushed for a touchdown in the loss. Leal, a senior who has verbally committed to Virginia Tech, had a 5-yard touchdown run in the second quarter to put the Eagles up 6-0 in the second quarter."

I fail to understand why some of you guys get so offended about other fan bases posting here. We're talking football, chill out.

Anyhow, I don't. Believing that would be pretty dumb.

We won a 2 National Championships without Tebow, and have been the winningest program in the nation over the past 20 years. What reality are falling back into?

You've had 1 class with similar talent to our own. Let your staff establish themselves before you start declaring recruiting dominance.

I'm not trolling, and I didn't say any of the above mentioned players were locks, especially not Luc. I said I'm confident we can land a few of em though.
actually now that alabama had to vacate those wins tennessee is the most winning team in sec...

:eek:k:
and your point where are the gators ranked?cant be great all the time.everyone has down years, happens to the best of us all...

My point was that we've been the winningest program in the Nation over the past two decades and have 3 National Titles in little over 10 seasons. We've been a power, we aren't just going to fall off the map after Tebow leaves.

we have 5 nc 9 sec championship as i recall.with that being said we have had 3 bad seasons, the rest has been great.we have beat the best of the best.both programs are good.no worries go vols

5 NC's???

Don't be like Bama and claim championships from the 1800's....

Dude has a valid point.. Florida will still be Florida even after Tebow..

Florida isnt going anywhere. things may even out a bit soon enough but theyll be a force every year, no matter how good we may get.

that said, what about Dunkley?

Dunkley is very close to being a Gator lock. He's the primary reason we didn't accept the James Louis commit. Dunkley didn't want to play with him.

So Meyer is letting 17 year old recruits dictate who he signs now?

I have a hard time believing that...with Meyer's insanely inflated ego and all

i was stating we are a storied program, and it dosent matter when we won ITS THAT We DID!!!

You didn't read the story on why James Louis committed to TOSU? We made an offer, he wanted to commit, we said wait and think about it, he attempted contacting the staff, nobody contacting him back "quick" enough, he felt disrespected and committed elsewhere.

We supposedly didn't contact him back due to higher WR's on our board showing major interest, ala Chris Dunkley.

so iam not like a bammer, they were from the 1900s also if you would read you could see i said both programs are good .dont be a bammer, and not be able to read. go vols

Hell Miami has a more storied history than Florida. And I still can't figure why urban took Miami off the sched. Guess he wants to keep playing teams like csu. But dunkley prob will be at Florida.
