You're kidding right? Learn to read. Never called anyone with a grill a gangster. But the part I underlined only proves 99% of people who wear grills are posers. It's not a "trend". It's for posers.
And as for CJ - you have to earn the title "model citizen". You aren't considered one to begin with. Nothing against him.
I read just fine thank you. Maybe you should consider Hooked On Phonics yourself since you just happened to read over the part where I said "gangster or even a wannabe."(Same as poser in case you didn't know) But I guess it's convenient for you to forget that last little part. As for him being a poser, who cares? You didn't seem to be so vehemently against him having one when you for some reason believed he was actually considering Tennessee.
And as for CJ, how has he not earned his title of model citizen? He's not been in trouble with the law and he's contributed to various charitable causes. So you must have something against him subconsciously. Either that or you're just being a judgmental prick. Hopefully it's not the latter.
The main problem I have with some people in this thread is that they were saying Dunkley is a thug or a gangster or didn't have any class just because he wears a grill and he offended some people with his feelings towards Tennessee. The main thing I'm trying to get across is that these people need to grow some thicker skin or gain some class if they're so easily offended by a 16-17 year old kid. My main problem was with Lord Vader and some other chum and you're name somehow got pulled into the fray by me because I just saw the original post you made about it and felt the need to say something about it. Sorry if that hurt your feelings in the process.I am quite aware of the fact that poser and wannabe mean the same thing - but you've seriously got some comprehension problems going on if you thought differently. Nice comeback. Seriously - swing and a miss - not sure what you're trying to argue here. People who wear grills are posers 99% of the time. I would hardly call grills a "trend" or a "fad" since they're really not that popular if that was what you were trying to argue (that people who wear grills are not posers but they were just a "trend").
Cockiness isn't a bad thing. I believe you've just taken some of his quotes and heard them out of context, or you've let the media such as the buffoons over at ESPN influence how you're taking in CJ. He's a 22-23 year old kid. He's gonna say some things that might put some people off, but that's just what happens to some competitive people in the heat of competition or their job. It's not something that should make people consider him not a model citizen at all. It's actually pretty common, and at this point if I had a kid, I'd much rather have him idolize CJ more so than Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant who have had their share of serious problems, but people seem to not have a problem with them.CJ is arrogant and needs to stop running is mouth. He did the same in college. He's not a bad person - but not someone I would want to raise my kids to be like. A model citizen is someone I would like my kids to take after.
IDK if you ever specifically followed Chris Dunkley, but at that point when I said "you" it was most definitely more of a collective "you" that applied to anyone else in this thread who's been spewing off bull **** on Dunkley just because he doesn't agree with them on school choices. And since when did I believe Chris Dunkley was considering Tennessee strongly? I keep up with some recruiting - but I'm not a recruiting junkie. I knew the guys name and knew he played WR - had no idea where we stood with him. I looked at the thread and saw the crap you were spewing at so joined in.
