'10 FL WR Chris Dunkley

I'm not saying that's what's Vader meant, but that's how I see it. Obviously it doesn't apply to everybody but i know some kids with grills, and none of them have any class whatsoever, and are ghetto. That's just from my experience.

I had a kid this summer who was wearing one in one of my classes. He was the only kid I had thrown out or had an issue with at all. He would not work and was laying down on a desk lol. I asked if he was house trained? He threatened me and bye bye no summer school for you. Anyway that is my only kid with grill experience.

Not everyone who wears a grill is a thug or even a wannabe. To think that is pretty naive. Sounds like some of you enjoy sour grapes.

Will somebody please tell me what the point of wearing a grill is at a football combine? Heck, will somebody tell me what the purpose is of wearing a grill anywhere?

I'm with jmva. If I see somebody wearing a grill, it's hard for me not to pass judgement. Look at Jacques or Scroggins. Those 2 are class acts and you can tell it at first glance...

That's dumb to think like that. You look at a person and can tell what type of person he is. That's crap.

As much as I disagree with lowdown1, I agree with him here.

To judge a teenager by what he looks like in a picture is a little classless.

A person can do what they want it's they're rights Vader. You being judgemental is terrible. I guess I need to say every white guy with a bald head is a racist. How does that sound to you? STUPID that's how that sounds. If Dunkley says he doesn't like Tennessee that doesn't make him classless. Jacques Smith said he doesn't like Bama but he has class right? What a double standard.

What about Chris Johnson?

I think when you see some of these recruits you have to remember some/many of them are from the inner city, they are a product of thier enviroment. Just as if some kid from Grundy County wearing a John Deere cap. An inner city kid sporting corn rolls or grills or any other thing you dont normally see in your picket fence doesnt make him a punk. It makes him a product of his enviroment. You dont get out much if you see a grill on a kid and automatically think he is a thug.

Also I would love for recruits to say they cant stand UF, bama, etc.....
Our coach does it why dont they.

My guess is Lockdown owns a grill - only reason he's taking that stance. Comparing a white man with his head shaved to a grill? Really? Most people that own grills are posers anyway.

Please tell me I'm missing your sarcasm. Do you really think having a grill automatically makes someone a gangster or even a wannabe? It's just a trend man. Get over it. One of my tiny little preppy Asian friends used to have a grill.

What about him? He hasn't exactly been the model Titan and seems to whine a lot.

What exactly has Chris Johnson done to make you consider him "not a model citizen"? The fact that he's worn a grill? I guess a player that communicates through the media is a "whiner" now a days? Please.

That's funny because he and Tony Brown came to see my neighbor when he was at Baptist hospital with cerebral palsy.

Pacman was also very charitable to the Nashville PD. He donated tons of money to the cops. He even practiced with that one Nashville high school team some and went to alot of their games...

He did all of that after he'd already been in plenty of trouble with the law to try and save some face. Chris Johnson hasn't been an off field problem. Or even an on field problem like Pacman was.

Anyways, I don't know why people are so upset about Dunkley not giving UT a chance. Kid's been all Florida for a long time. And like said before, Jacques pretty much did the same thing towards Alabama but I don't see you guys calling him out on that. In fact he was praised around here for it.

This argument is pointless. Nobody is gonna change anybody's mind...

You know why because you're acting like an idiot. And to the other poster Bassman I work in an office all day and I don't own a grill now. Had one though back in 2004. Just a phase some kids go through. Just like gothic dressing kids. Catch my drift. Vader and jmva1 just won't accept certain kids but probably love Daniel Hood. And I'm not trying to bash Hood but if you can say he has class I think Dunkley deserves a bit more respect.

lol, you still running that 4.4?

lol i gave my OPINION on kids with grills and get attacked.. it's my opinion, it doesn't mean it's fact.

Chris Johnson was still arrogant (in a negative way) in college and seems to be in the NFL as well between him not winning NFL ROY and complaints in general. Never called him a thug and I don't think he's anything close to one. Congratulations if he did charity - that's pretty much required by athletes these days - and I am a Titans fan.

You're kidding right? Learn to read. Never called anyone with a grill a gangster. But the part I underlined only proves 99% of people who wear grills are posers. It's not a "trend". It's for posers.

And as for CJ - you have to earn the title "model citizen". You aren't considered one to begin with. Nothing against him.

Don't know haven't been timed this year. Focusing on night school a lot now. But I should still run a good 40. I'm around my playing weight right now. You must be mad because I'm faster than your spaceship LV. Lol
