'10 FL WR Chris Dunkley

The #1 receiver in the nation? He doesn't have the attributes. He's 5'10" and 180 soaking wet. There are much better guys in this class that can come in and make an immediate impact on a team. Dunkley isn't one of those guys. I'm not saying I wouldn't take him, but with the attitude issues and his size -- switching schools like he did mysteriously....he's not a #1 type of receiver.

Two guys I would take over Dunkley that are considering UT are Kyle Prater and DeMarco Cobbs.

well obviously we dont have to worry a whole lot about milton or ambles. Prater would be huge, but i dont see that happening. Havent heard much about reed though?

Yeah, I'd take Cobbs over him for sure.

You didn't ask about who we had a shot at or who wasn't committed. You should phrase your questions better and you'll likely get a better answer. I thought you were just completely off-the-wall talking about Dunkley as the #1 receiver. But no, to answer your actual question, he's not even #1 on our board as far as who's left. He's probably 3rd or 4th.

Another thing to bear in mind is that we really aren't going after the quick slot receiver type in this class. We did pretty well with that position in last year's class with Nuke and Teague. Rogers could play slot as well. We're looking for the big, physical type of receiver in this class and we've got some of the best in that mold already committed and leading for another.
Reed isn't coming here. I'd bet on LSU getting him.
I agree with that, and if so, Seastrunk follows suit.

It's not mysterious at all why he transferred. He wanted to play for a state title, and with the talent Pahokee has that should not be a problem. I agree he's definitely not the best WR in the country, I would say either Prater or White probably has that distinction. Dunk is more of a top 10 WR with great speed and elusiveness.

His teamate at Pahokee a DT named Willis signed with Minnosota on another note.

Just spoke with Chris a few minutes ago and he's currently setting up his visits right now. At this point Dunkley already has visits set up to West Virginia, Georgia, and is currently working on official visits for USC and Tennessee. Florida will be his last official visit. Gators are in very, very good shape for Dunkley. Once I get the exact game for when Chris will visit Florida I will also update that. From talking with him I would imagine that visit will be the FSU/UF game. Chris is still expected to announce his school of choice at the Under Armour All-star game.

I think we end up with this kid for some reason. My source? Nothing its just a feeling but for some odd enouigh reason I think this may be a kiffin surprise

At first I remember this kid bad mouthing CLK, I kind of quit following this kid, because I thought there was no chance. I'm sure someone was in his ear. If he's still actually open, I think there is a legit chance. I think we could steal another one of meyers prized recruits. I think having nuke, & this guy actually seeing the frosh on the field with his own eyes will help. Frosh getting a real chance to play, will be huge for us in the recruiting process.
