Well if he does become a Vol somebody tell him to leave the dance moves at home. I'd Hate to see him having a dance off at Rumorz (The old Bar Knox) and we have us another brawl on the strip

I know this is only my second post ever on VN and I have no credit to my name, but this kid doesn't sound good. He may have the great skill set, but I'm with HG on this one. He just doesn't sound like a guy we should get. Yes, he most likely would be amazing on the field, but off...I'm not too sure on that. What's the story with this kid, HG? I don't know much about the kid except what I just stated and I don't want to pre-judge. I do know he went to UF before, correct?

The kid can make changes in his life. From what I understand, he really needed to get out of the environment that he was in. VFL program is something that would help him tremendously, and I'm CERTAIN the coaches wouldn't bring him here if they felt he was beyond saving.
I'm sure the kid was humbled when he went from Florida commit to unable to qualify anywhere. Perhaps that will be enough impetus to spur a change in his demeanor.

I recently joined a couple of months ago and input is always welcome here bro and the people here in the recruiting forum are great but that football forum :stop:. They have no idea of what it takes to truly put the team together and they start new "Fire Dooley" threads every 2 seconds.

As far as Dorsey. great ball player. academic issues out the a**. Attends a JUCO (Grand Rapids CC) with one of our 13' commits Corey Smith. I guess their the best of friends now because it's now a possibility of them wanting to play together in college.

That's true. Good stuff. I guess I'm just used to constantly seeing off the field issues from past teams. Gotta have faith in the coaching crew

IMO getting away from SFL was the first step in the process but sometimes having issues in the classroom aren't about location. Kid like Dorsey have been getting a free pass bc of their athletic ability for decades and sometimes it catches up to them..it's not a knock on the kid but most times it just doesn't work out for them making it into a SEC program bc of it.

When we start a forum on VN about recruiting for the Chess or debate squad, thats I'll start being worried about if kids are exemplary students.

Not every kid on a football team is going to be a boy scout. and yes, you can win with them.

You dont need a team full of leaders, You need Leaders in key positions who actually lead and kids who are willing to follow.
